Nothing quite like being pounced on at freak o'clock by a demanding diva cat. My brother used to put tape on my cat's feet just to watch her walk funny. I think it was payback for her attempts to smother him in his sleep with her butt.
I find a lot of my writing is done after a bad night of sleep, either the comatose state causes absolute insanity writing or I'm too freakishly tired to do anything but sit my ass at the screen typing out gibberish.
