I assure you that this isn't a ploy to win a game of Mystic Warlords of Ka'a, or even a bowling match... this is just something that happens from time to time when someone like me is lucky enough to land a dream job that conflicts with a planned trip out of town. I have only one word for this ... WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEATONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!

I completely agree that you should do that. :)

Wil, That was a thoroughly wonderful moment, and the best part was seeing Patrick, Jonathan, Mirina, and Gates all show their genuine love and admiration for you as both an actor and a person. Also, I saw what you did there after (finally?) getting a kiss from Mirina. :)

Yes, Wil, please tell us if you were able to convince Anne to put it on top of your tree :)

Wil says "Karen Gillan's underpants?!?!", then Chris goes into the history of the gift.

I'm with you on this. I'll have to admit that I'm cheating by going back to the novel I tried to start last year during NaNo, but only because it hasn't left me and nothing new has come to mind. And, I am totally with Wil on his post. In the past few weeks, the ideas and concepts for my novel have changed quite a bit. What started out as something based in the near future is now looking like having a more dystopian setting. Also, I'm sure I'll see some other characters come to life over the next approx. 50 days.

I am 100% in agreement with Gween on this one. It should be turned into a painting. Or, better yet, a blanket!

I sincerely hope this is happening again in 2011 and includes the full w00tstock compliment. I will find a way to get my wife on a motherfucking boat. Oh, yes ... I *will* find a way.

Personally, I'd keep the book and just take Jeri Ryan ;)

Count me in on hopes I will get this. My only hope is that the wife will allow the purchase ;) You can find me on Twitter under this name, or on gmail as russdwright

Wil, I plan on writing a pretty extensive blog post on this very soon, but I wanted to say it was because of you and your blog that I start to truly embrace my geekiness. I came to realize and understand that it was completely OK for me to like the things I like and to be openly proud about the fact that I am a geek. Yes, my geek-adjacent wife rolls her eyes at me when I squee about certain things, but I have still be able to get her to do certain geeky things with me (D&D, Magic, going to the JJA Star Trek movie, and watching BBT are prime examples). Like Anne, though, she has her limits of how much geek she can take getting on her at one time. I think you and Anne should collaborate on a book about being a geek/non-geek couple. It would really be of help in bridging the gap in that kind of relationship.
