I've retitled this painting. Got the Life, Self Portrait with Camera. Visually it looks as if Paris is stroking my leg and Denise is pressing herself against me. It also looks as if I'm elbowing another guy aside. Continue reading

New painting. Chesapeake Fog is a nostalgic view of the old Chesapeake Lighthouse that stood near St Micheals and was destroyed in a storm in the 1950s. The painting is all about light and atmosphere. It is 18" wide and 14" tall, oil on canvas. Continue reading

I'm doin good. A couple of my pieces got licensed by the show Desperate Housewives (I think one of the women is taking art classes and they are using some of my work in that story line). I sent you a couple of emails a few months ago but never heard back. Was wondering how you've been since I hadn't seen you here in a long time.

I used to go there a lot. There used to be a huge navy base there and that is where my ex is from. My son is half Philippino.
Have you tried pancit?

Hi Paris. Has anyone heard from FairyPrincessMe lately? I hadn't seen her post anything in a long time so I emailed her and haven't heard back. No worries, just wondering. Hey Rui, hope things are good in Lisbon. Hey Ed, how's Hollywoodland? I did get an email from ABC. They are licensing a couple of my pieces for the set for Desperate Housewives, this pic is one of the pieces they are licensing. If anyone hears from FairyP tell her I said hello. Hope everything is ok out her way.

Painting but need a sale. Still just scraping by trying to survive. I have to admit that there are times I feel like giving it up.

Hi FairyP, Rui, Lance and everyone. Hi Paris. I thought I'd let you know how my trip to New York went. I had a great time with my mother. We went and saw Mama Mia and she really loved the show. The worst thing about the show was the music ran through my head all night as I slept. We wandered around the city enjoying the sites in between my canvassing galleries. We had dinner at Bobby Flay's among other places but his was the best. My mother really enjoyed the trip and so it turned out to be a nice mother's day jaunt. Paris, this part is for you. While talking to a gallery owner in Soho she really perked up when I mentioned this painting. The work in the gallery all seemed to deal with celebrities like Liz Taylor and Marilyn and James Dean. She asked if you had bought this painting and I had to admit that I never asked you if you were interested. So I thought I'd offer it up and if you are interested you can contact me through my gallery site at http://fineartamerica.com/profiles/tim-ezell.html. It is 5 feet tall by 4 feet wide, oil on canvas and the title is Got The Life. If not that's fine. I'm submitting it and my other available works to several galleries that expressed interest and hopefully I'll get representation from one of them. The work goes on. Happy Mother's day, a bit late I know but I JUST got back from New York.
