It seems presumptuous to call *oneself* a "Renaissance wo/man" -- it's one of those monikers that wants being bestowed by a third party to avoid reeking of hubris. It also requires the perspective of age -- are we truly worthy of being called "Renaissance wo/men" before our 40th birthdays? That said, despite in-depth knowledge of many topics, few people will consider me a "Renaissance woman" as opposed to a "smart aleck" or a "know-it-all".
