I do a fairly decent Tom Jones impression. One time while singing "It's Not Unusual" at a karaoke bar, an older gentleman about 65 (one of the regulars there) stopped me on my way back to my seat and said, "You're no Tom Jones, kid, but you got a helluva set of lungs." That memory still makes me smile to this day.

I would put Empire at number 1. It is truly stunning especially the theme to the ice planet Hoth. Syncopated horns with 2 grand pianos. One of the best moments you can experience with another human being (outside of the obvious) is when you make an obscure reference and the other person "gets" it. To be able to share that moment is the stuff that bonds families and friends and fans alike. Saw that episode a couple of weeks ago and for some reason I got a little dust in my eyes again just like the first time I watched it. Stupid emotions!

LAST! As someone who has the word "designer" in their title, I completely understand the thinking behind NOSPEC but again, I agree, this is WILL. He doesn't charge us to read his blog. He doesn't hammer us over the head with the pop up ads PLUS he is offering payment of some sort. I'd love to do it just to see what I could come up with.
