You know who I feel sorry for? Marquis Daniels He had a shot with dallas at the ring, didn't get it cuz of the refs. As if one fail wasn't enough, the concussion he suffered in the conference finals courtesy of dwight howard kept him out of the finals (I know he was in the doghosue already at that point, but he could've helped spelling pierce off the bench). Game seven must be more soulcrushing. After two fails at the ring, he returns to the C's as a major player off the bench only to get injured once again. Only this time the injury is severe enough to jeopardize his career. I'm happy he could play again. It would suck to end his career with two, maybe three counting this year, tries at the ring and fail. On the other hand, he is rich so life is fair.

Speaking of the draft... Do you think that Avery will see a significant increase of minutes next year? He didn't really play much last year. We kept him because he is a good defender, and unlike most of the roster now, is young and athletic. Why do we need to look elsewhere for athletic depth behind rondo when we already have a 19th pick who's supposed to be an athletic stopper? Behind Rondo and West, if he's back next year, how much do we really another point guard. Ray, Rondo, Bradley, and West in the back court sounds pretty good to me.

TOTALLY AGREE with you man! That kid can flat out ball, and i was just checking up how he was doing in Houston last month and was shocked how little he played. If we were able to get him that would be a total steal, man if he plays well, he'd be a huge upgrade from Marquis. The problem is who we have to give up to trade for him...dilemma
