Being a film fanatic it's very hard to name a favorite movie. I see every movie being its own independent work of art. Avatar ranks high on my list but I can't give any one movie the title of "favorite".
I just got my avatar dvd today. As far as I can tell, this movie has no flaws in continuity. Continue reading

Wow ....this is amazing. This movie just keeps getting bigger. Never has anything made such an impact on people. There is a new report on news sites everyday in regards to AVATAR. Cameron has the formula for making the perfect... Continue reading

The gravity on avatar is less than that of earth. Unless they constantly work out to keep their bones strong they will eventually become very weak and risk fractures due to the decrease in bone density. Since the Majority of the scientists who had the knowledge to grow Avatars have been banished from the planet, Norm and the others will most likely have to vacate Pandora but where they will go is another question since they would be deemed as traitors on Earth. I guess we'll have to wait until the sequel.
I agree with Nawm. Na'vi is best suited. BTW where can I get a Na'vi name?
Add me on Hometree.
Steve, you're a well spoken individual.

Goodnight all! Time to sleep...or try to. All these thoughts AVATAR has produced have been keeping me up for the last three nights.

We once had this sort of connection with the Earth. It may not be on the level of what the Na'vi have but we once went by the slogan of Mother Earth. We only took what we needed and when we died we gave it back.. Who's to say that the Na'vi will never develop into what we have? It's not stated how long their civilization has existed. As fate has it we are who we are. It would be nice if things could change in the near future because as I see it, our technology is going to be the downfall of our civilization. We've become to reliant on simple things such as food, shelter, clothing. The majority of us wouldn't know how to gather and hunt for our own food, build a home, nor would we know how to process fiber for our own clothing. It's sad and one day we will pay for it. Our world is nearing if not past carrying capacity due to technology. I could go on forever but these are thoughts...
Mans uncontrolled need to control and conquer The positive relationship the Na'vi have with their planet. Sully's ability to do whats right rather than what's in his best interest.

I also noticed the 21+ event you speak of isn't the 3-D screening. I figure serving alcohol at a 3-D event could cause motion sickness in some so they wouldn't risk it. This is really the only reason I think they would restrict an event to 21+ attendees. What other reason would be associated with the age 21?
It's prolly a showtime where they serve alcohol. A lot of theaters are starting to serve alcohol in the auditoriums. It said 21+ because they don't want underage drinking.
A little too late brother. Someone else in the second post got it just before you did.
Yea you win! +10 Pride Points brother.
