If he thinks two-a-days are so tough and require so much "skill", I'd give my pension to have him do all-days for ten months at 10,000-15,000 foot altitudes, with a 100+ pound combat pack, with Hadji shooting at him randomly, and my SFODA Senior Weapons Sergeant son riding his ass like a rented mule. SGT FastLaneFlash is scheduled for a fifth deployment in October, and I'm sure the NFL can spare one practice dummy to show an A-Team what "real skill" is all about. Mr. Nsekhe's profoundly ignorant disrespect for the military made me think deeply of the sacrifice of Pat Tillman, RIP.

Rep. Carolyn Maloney (Dipshit, NY) thinks the attacks under discussion are those made against Hillary Clinton, for calling her a liar about Benghazi. All her venom was directed at Issa for questioning Clinton's veracity. Not a word from her about the attack on the American consulate or the dead Americans. Useless, despicable, and traitorous are the Democrats.

American forces are withdrawing from COPs around Afghanistan and the Taliban is making media hay of it. My son's SFODA team abandoned their COP a month ago & Al Jazeera had the cameras rolling by the time the dust settled. Here is the link of the Taliban claiming a victory & broadcasting it to the world with the help of Saudi Arabia, the people who brought us 9/11/2001: http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=ff6_1346741837&comments=1 The Taliban leader for the area was at the COP & for 36 hours my son's team requested air support, which was in the area, to bomb the abandoned COP, but REMFs refused to act & the opportunity was lost. This was dereliction of duty, as well as cowardice.

@Lands'nGrooves, Like Jeff Foxworthy says: If you grow poppies and refine heroin for a living, but object to the drinking of alcohol, you just might be a Muslim (terrorist). The trade in heroin and hash is a main source of funding for Islamic terrorists, hence, "narcotics patrol detector dog".

Dear Major Lujan, The men of OPSEC have been promoted by virtue of leaving the military to the status of civilian, in other words, your bosses and superiors, sir. STFU and quit being an Obama stooge. In case you forgot, Major, you have warriors in harm's way who are being sacrificed on the altar of liberal politics, my son with SFODA in Afghanistan being one of them. As an honorably discharged veteran, I owe this CiC nothing but contempt, disdain, and dishonor for his abuse of America's warriors. Civilian OPSEC members have the right to openly critical political speech, Major; you do not, and by telling OPSEC to STFU, you are violating the principle you claim to uphold. You, sir, are a disgrace to the uniform and to the men who wear it.

Florida Infidel, the words are missing from my mouth and found in your Occam Razor statement. We have found the enemy, a Trojan Horse, a Manchurian candidate, a domestic enemy of The Constitution and of the Republic. Obama deserves a firing squad.
A simple "Thank you, ma'm." is sufficient. Don't smile when you say it.

My son is a Senior Weapons Sergeant on an ODA team currently in Afghanistan. I must keep this article away from him. He is capable of humility, just not about himself. He's certainly a worry for all who love him, and he draws us closer to God to pray for his safety, and if not, for his salvation. These men are each special and as a team are exceptional. But they do get wounded and need help the team can't give, so I strongly support the Special Forces Wounded Warriors Association as my primary charity. Go and do likewise.

You could bury it with honors, which is certainly appropriate, since it gave its life for you. Or, you could put it in a place of honor next to your fine Scotch collection, as an inspiration, with a couple of fingers of nectar, to celebrate life/toast freedom/give thanks for dodging yet another bullet . Damn fine soldier, that X-box.

That's no A-team - not even a B-team. They must have been trained by the Afghani Special Forces. My son, who is on an A-Team, just returned from a tour in Helmand, remarked how, after much training on Green Beret room-clearing tactics, the Afghanis would still just shoot through the closed doors and windows before kicking in the doors and proceeding to kill everyone inside. These are not SWAT teams that are now ubiquitous in America; they are unionized tribal enforcement gangs who assume that We citizens are all the enemy. Protect and serve, my ass. I've never seen the police I was glad to see. Police have morphed to mirror the fascist governments that have metastasized from coast-to-coast. They are like Muslims: show me that peaceful moderate one that doesn't want to either pick my pocket or break my leg. Protest as they may, what they are speaks so loudly I can't hear what they say. Government is a four-letter word, should not be allowed to mingle openly with polite society, and one should flush and wash after using it.

You obviously have missed The Planet of the Apes for the last fifty years: humanity lost to the simians and in the end submitted to being slaves to apes. Sounds familiar.

Troops must be deployed, otherwise, these "public servants" would be targeting returning soldiers to relieve them of their combat pay. My son, SSG FastLaneFlash, was deployed with 5/7 CAV out of Ft. Stewart to Iraq for 27 months total, before going to Afghanistan where he is currently. He was relieved of several hundred dollars by one of the many local-government-operated speed traps that surround Ft. Stewart, and which use soldiers as a source of revenue. It appears to me that every government in America at every level has mutated from public service to public tyranny. Phone calls and media attention are not going to reverse this long slide into enslavement of The People by The Government. Revolution is the solution.

HOAs in general suck. Mine has recycled board members with whom I've had past dealings, in which the board lost and was publicly humiliated. Most recently, they've sent me certified letters demanding the removal of the Blue Star flag displayed on my porch, threatening $25 per day fine, a lien on my property, and legal action. The flag remains, and my lawyer is on the job, while my son is in Afghanistan with his ODA team. While "maintaining property values" is always the "stated" goal of the HOA office holders, the power is often too much for petty, mean, and even evil people to hold over their neighbors, especially since they are protected from liability and the neighborhood pays for their bad acts, financially and otherwise.

As a Blue Star Georgia father whose warrior-son is in Afghanistan with his ODA team, my heart breaks for Mr. Stokely and his family, and also swells with the knowledge of the love between father and son. None of us with sons in harm's way is able to keep the thought of the knock-on-the-door from our minds. There is no greater knowing for a father than to know the child he nurtured to adulthood has become a man-among-men, shoulder-to-shoulder with great and honorable heroes doing God's work. In America today, it often seems that only Her warriors and their families are at war, with the media engaged in treasonous denial and subversion, Congress voting present, and the CIC working on his short game when not starting another "kinetic action". The enemy is among us in many guises, and we fathers must remain vigilant at home against those who would bring this great nation to its knees in dishonor. This we owe our sons, all who have sacrificed much, some (God bless you Mike Stokely) who have sacrificed all. The Stokely family is in my prayers for a bubble of God's grace to surround and protect them. I'll be watching the moon, Robert.

The Taliban, to their dying breaths, just insist on impaling themselves on the U.S. Marines. My son and his ODA team are in the same area lending a hand. God bless these good men who make us proud to be American and speed the healing of our wounded.

I saw this scene with soldiers of the 3rd ID when my son returned from Iraq after his tours. The love these men have for each other is forged in fire. Son's now in Afghanistan with ODA and often we've discussed how it is he's fighting for the guys next to him, that even when wounded they must be kept in the fight, made to know they are still needed to achieve victory. These men make America exceptional, no matter what their CIC says.

I watched my son walk out the Green Ramp at Pope Air Field into the belly of a C-5 going to Afghanistan Wednesday night to meet his SF team down range. I know he will do his very best to do his duty and to fight for the man next to him. I wish the same could be said of our national leaders, especially pResident Obama. We fight an enemy they will not name in a war they have not the will to win.

I miss the days of Reagan, when we had muzzies killing commies, and vice-versa. Now, we have to do it ourselves, and both of them are killing us.

Firstly, there is no such thing as a homosexual. For sex to be part of the equation, procreation must be a potential outcome of the act. As the black radio talk show host "Ralph from Ben Hill" used to say: "You can't have sex in another man's intestines!". Liberals/leftists/progressives have perverted language to promote their perversions, calling themselves "homosexuals" to gain equality with what they call "heterosexuals" or "breeders" or "homophobes". They demand not only that the sexually normative people accept their perversions as more than just "normal", but that we must promote and teach their perversions as normal throughout the society, includingto our youngest children. No, dear Lord, the closet is not a dark and small enough place to keep this evil. A problem I see is there is no room for "different" in good military order. Looking over a field of camo uniforms, a small minority demanding exceptionalism for themselves, based on acts contrary to Nature, is a small minority needing to be weeded out and dismissed. The good order and proper functioning of the world's best military must not be compromised by what a largely Christian nation still holds to be sinful, abhorrent to God, and puke-inducing.

Touches really close to home, Uncle Jimbo. Only son, SSGT FastLaneFlash, is a weapons sergeant scheduled to receive his Green Beret 10/1 at Fort Bragg. It will be A BIG EFFING DEAL when this regime of Marxists, idiots, and crooks get voted out of office. Big Mouth Biden's comment is the least of the humiliating, demeaning, and crass events this thuggish crowd has put on display at home and abroad. Joe Biden is the best life insurance policy Barry Soetoro could buy. Our enemies wouldn't wait six minutes to test a President Biden. To quote the great American philosopher Bugs Bunny: "What a maroon! What an ignoranimus!".
