Hi Rob - I'm glad you are still helping push for the transformation. Your "Look from Above the Storm" set the context for this back in 05!
After a series of system efforts to harness the incredible latent network value (New Realities, the DDC, OMN, PSP, American Archive et al.), I'm hopeful you're right that this season of change may finally set the stage for a true convergence in public media.
There's definitely new momentum and leadership, but I'm wary of hinging solutions on the existing institutions and relationships. I like your notion of the SWAT team. We need a new center of gravity to make this happen.
