I've actually just recently started watching TNG for the first time and I am loving it (and a lot of it is because of you) and this is just so heart warming. You really are an amazing person, a great role model for the rising generation of "geeks" and this video proves how far you've come.

While I don't play physical games, I've been playing a written RPG online with several of my friends for the last thirteen years or so. It was so easy when we were kids and were able to just log on and spend countless hours writing out scenarios or plotting future stories. Now that we're all "grown up" it actually takes time to commit to playing. We've lost several friends along the way and over the last year we've had several moves, two pregnancies, college, marriages, jobs, etc.
I honestly hope that we'll all still be playing together ten years from now, because I know that it's a necessary part of my life. I totally get how you feel. It's not just a game. It's a creative outlet and a very important social network.
