She does have quite a gap there, doesn't she? Kinda odd for a model.

Yeah, can do without the tassels. And the blade. That's not only gonna leave a mark, think of the Heartburn....!

Well, that's one shirt I'll miss. I do not own a pink shirt. Pink and I are not friends. That's just how it is.
Yeah, no kidding. It was so fast furious. Either that or long and dreary and it all ran together.

Not a problem, Tim. Keep the updates and blogging coming. Getting a peek at what a National Team member does and goes through through training as well as your outreach programs are very interesting to read, especially for people who wonder "What does it take to get there and stay there?"

I'm curious about how Adidas has managed to do it. I'm sure their prices reflect the manufacturing costs for such a relatively low volume of sales. They've been the recognized leader in fencing shoes (and probably Olympic gear as well) for ever. So, for every fencer/parent who looks at a pair of Adidas shoes and then buys the lower priced Hi-Tec or whoever, couldn't for a similar cost buy a pair of Nike's? I've known plenty of people who take a peek at Adidas and then see the price and walk away saying things like "well, if I decide to get really serious, then I'll probably get those." When I tell people how much the Hi-Tec cost, they're more interested, I suspect that for a "flashy" pair of shoes like the ones Nike made the interest will be even higher as long as the price remains in the neighborhood of where they were initially produced and sold. I think that's really the crux of the matter. And that, I'm sure remains to be seen.
