I love it, reminds me of my neighbours.
It's definitely nice to see unabridged creativity :)
Short Fiction: 239 Sycamore St.
While walking through my neighborhood yesterday, I wondered what actually went on behind those manicured lawns and drawn curtains. I wondered how much I really knew my neighbors. This is what my brain spat out: Ian missed living in a city that didn’t keep any secrets from him, where everything ...
Nah, sounds daft.
I am of course kidding! I would totally buy that!
anyone interested in a short fiction collection?
I have a question for everyone who reads my blog: if I put some short stories I'd written together into a little collection and sold it at Lulu, would you be interested? I ask this because I collected a few short stories into a limited edition chapbook for last year's PAX Prime, and it's been si...
Made my day, as usual! So excited about series 4 of the guild now.
You and Felicia would have awesomely geeky children... just something to think about.
Radio Free Burrito: Episode Twenty-Eight
Holy Crap, it's time for a new episode of Radio Free Burrito! Has it really been three weeks since the last show? I guess it has. Well, I brought a note that will hopefully excuse my absence... Show Notes: The logo was designed by WWdN:iX reader Marc, who asked that I not link to his "in progr...
Brilliant! I totally loved it! It was so weird, like seeing a family member on TV.
My sister, who is a complete non-geek, has never seen star trek and has little or no knowledge of the actors in it, even said "you could totally see him as a regular character!"
I would love that so much...
The Wheaton Recurrence
It's Sunday afternoon as I write this. I can't publish this manually, because if I've read my call sheet correctly, I'm currently playing Dr. Isaac Parrish on Eureka. If we're on schedule, I'm working in a scene with Erica, Colin, and Neil. If my experience on the show so far is any indication, ...
I'm ridiculously excited about this! Now at least I have a video to show my friends (for the time being...) rather than trying to put the hilarity into words!
Many Bothans died to bring you this...
I'm in Canada, working on Eureka, so I couldn't watch the previews CBS put online for The Wheaton Recurrence. Using all of my Evil Wil Wheaton powers, I contacted a sympathetic mole deep within the CBS Fortress of Power and got my hands on this preview.* I'm sorry I had to disable embedding, but...
I'm gonna miss these so much! Time to read the book again!
At least this means more Radio Free Burrito
Memories of the Futurecast Episode Fourteen: Datalore
Holy crap! It's time for Memories of the Futurecast. Memories of the Future, Volume One, covers the first 13 episodes of TNG, so, starting at the beginning and working my way through the book, I picked one chapter a week and performed an excerpt for you. It was mostly from the synopses, which is...
I just realised I missed an awesome opportunity for a quote! I'm such an idiot! Let's try that one again...
Wil Wheaton made me feel Strange, but also good!
Memories of the Futurecast Episode Eleven: Haven
Holy crap! It's time for Memories of the Futurecast. Memories of the Future, Volume One, covers the first 13 episodes of TNG, so each week, I'm choosing something from one episode, and performing an excerpt for you. It will mostly be from the synopses, which is where I think the real humor of th...
This week guest staring Howard's Mum from Big Bang Theory!
Wil Wheaton got me Pissed. That's fun to say (pissed drunk, not pissed grumpy...)
I'm totally gonna miss these podcasts if they stop. Keep them going... go on. Do it.

Funnily enough, I'm actually watching TNG for the first time now with Memories of the Future (not mammaries of the future as firefox spell checker thought I might have meant...) and it's quite a strange experience! For a start it's strange that I have been able to survive in such a geek-orientated world for so long without having seen it, but it also makes me feel completely part of it from square one. It's like watching it with a friend who has seen it thousands of times before! Being a Wil fan before being a TNG fan (For now, I imagine I'll end up as a trekkie in the future...) has made me totally immune to the Wesley effect! He's like my wee buddy who somehow infiltrated the bridge crew! Whoooo!
"What on earth did nerds do in the 1980s to figure this all out?"
I'm way late to the party on this, but I just started reading Spook Country this week. Unlike most Gibson books I've read, it doesn't ramp up slowly, and instead hits the ground running (that's not a bad thing). I'm only 30 pages in (it's been a busy week without a lot of time to read) but I'm p...
Oh my word, this made me so happy. I absolutely love both Q episodes and the Wil so now I'm in a state of internet induced delirium! Thanks so much.
I would totally miss memories of the future, if you can keep it going, please do!
Love love love love love love!
Memories of the Futurecast Episode Ten: Hide and Q
