Yep Kitty is doing amazingly well. Still has little panic attacks and we need to build her stamina back up but definitely mended.

I cant thank you enough for your pebble tweet. I remember it making us smile and feel so touched that Kittys story was touching others. X

The whole lay/lie thing can also depend on where in the UK you come from too so even more confusing! My friend will say that she went for a lay down but I would say lie down! I would agree that lie is present and future tense and lay would be past tense as is 'I lay in bed until 10am' or 'I will lie in bed until 10am tomorrow' . You would however ask someone to 'lay the table' and chickens definitely lay eggs. You might say 'Who laid the table?' but it asking the person who did would say 'Did you lay the table' !!! Incredible confusing ;) Don't worry about your English I never even notice that it's not your first language! In this post I think lays or lies would be acceptable.

This is exactly how I would have my house if I didn't have Paddy ;) Off to purchase it so I can dream of a life like that, not without Paddy of course ;)

I'm trying to join in with Erin's challenge too. I have 7 cushions in various stages of making. Hopefully they will all be finished for sunday. Hopefully. That's if the shingles (poor Kitty) that has hit out house doesn't get in the way.

I am the same on the Halloween thing. It's getting much bigger here in the UK than it ever has been and this year my youngest (8) used all the pester power she could muster to go trick or treating. I nearly caved. Nearly. Your guys look so very cute though. Over here it's all ghouls and zombies and headless coachmen!

I think I might join you. I have a few cushions to make. Not sure I'll manage one a day but I can try.
