I've been so bad about posting on my blog...life has been busy lately. Between working and Mike and I both being sick, March was a blur! Caroline and her friends came in town for Spring Break...needless to say, they will be heading for warm weather next year (ha). Their friend, Alexis, who lives in Dallas, had never seen snow before this trip so she was excited. They stayed with us for a few days, and then went to Chicago to visit Abby's family. Luckily, they had to come back and stay in St. Louis before heading back to Oklahoma. It... Continue reading

I am so bad at updating my blog lately...life has been too busy!!! I have to start with saying how proud we are of Caroline. She has had such hard classes both last semester and this semester, and she is rocking her GPA. We received this from the President of OU this weekend...to say we were beaming would be an understatement. Physical Therapy is obviously the right field for her...she is loving all her courses pertaining to this degree. She just makes us so proud. Little bits has been busy too, and makes of equally proud...we feel blessed to have... Continue reading

and I have been a zombie all day...I'm so damn tired! We had so much fun, but averaged 2:00 for bed every night. We were usually up and going by 8 every morning too. We never stopped in between either....I'm way too old for no rest (ha)! The girls performed really well on Saturday, and we had so much fun in the parks. They opened up MGM just for the dancers from 10-2 on Sunday night. That was fun because we walked right onto the rides. MGM is my favorite park too so I was excited! I loved getting to... I keep thinking saying goodbye to this one will get easier, but it doesn't. I miss her so much, especially when she has been home for a month. I think I get used to her being away, and our life adapts, but then she comes home and it feels normal again. The longer she is home, the harder it is to see her go. She drove the 7 hours there and back by herself this time, and I didn't like it at all. She had no trouble, and it doesn't seem to bother her at all...she enjoys driving like I... Continue reading

While I haven't seen most of the movies up for awards this year, I still love to watch the stars on the red carpet. La La Land actually looks like a movie I would love to see, and may have to take Caroline before she heads back next week. My favorite new tv show this fall has been This is Us...I absolutely am obsessed with this show. Needless to say, Mandy Moore looked GORGEOUS last night, and was, by far, my favorite dress of the evening. She knocked it out of the park with this look! Seriously, how cute are... Continue reading

We had so much fun this hoilday season...we have been busy and lazy all at the same time (ha). We have watched so many movies, played games, worked, shopped, traveled, and now getting back to reality (which is no fun). We actually went to the movies on Christmas night to watch Why Him...OMG, that was hilarious! I made Mike take me to see the movie Jackie last weekend...I loved it, and he said it was the most painful thing he has had to sit through in a while (ha)! Here are a few pics from Christmas...wish I would have taken... Continue reading

because I have so much more to do to get ready for Christmas...it isn't working though (ha). Sunday we celebrated Mike's dad turning 80 with dinner at Maggianos...so much fun! We missed Dan, Angie, Jake, and Caroline...wish they could have been with us as well. Mike's dad had a great birthday. All the kids pitched in and got him this warplane flight...he was so excited! Gracie performed their Christmas dance at the Ursuline basketball game last night, and Santa came...it was so darn cute! Caroline comes home Thursday for a month...can't wait! I have to wrap presents before she gets... Continue reading

Fixer upper starts again...woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So happy I am feeling better. I was sick most of the weekend, and I hated being sick with Caroline home...ugh! At least she comes back in 3 weeks. I wanted to take Christmas card pictures, but that didn't happen...boo! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Here's to hoping Christmas is a sick free zone in the Wagner house...I'm busy lysoling everything today (ha)! I did manage to get the tree up...still decking the rest of the halls though. Leave you with a few pics the girls took while I was sick this weekend,... Continue reading

Recently did another install, and they were having issues decorating their bookshelves. I'm not a huge fan of bookshelves, but I seem to run into this problem all the time. It is hard to find the right items to make bookshelves look pretty, and not cluttered. I love how these turned out. Here are the befores... afters quite a difference...the homeowners were so happy! :) Continue reading

I did an install in Iowa this weekend, and got to see some of my favs. This girl graced me with her presence too...that was a nice surprise. Mike had Dad's weekend with Caroline...they had a ton of fun too. I can't believe Thanksgiving is next week. I'm starting to get out my Christmas decor, but can honestly say I have never put the tree up with the AC on before...I think that might happen this year...so strange! I am going to share the bookshelves I did in Iowa because I love the transformation. I really believe less is more... Continue reading

but don't bother reading Truly, Madly, Guilty. Liane Moriarty is one of my favorite authors, but it seriously took me almost 2 months to get through this book. I can usually blow through a book in a week or two. This book didn't keep my attention, and it took way too long for her to get to the conclusion. I felt like I couldn't keep characters straight, and it repeated itself over and over again. Complete waste of my time and energy. So disappointed!!! Continue reading

to my sweet hubby. I can't believe we have been married for 26 years today...not sure where the time has gone. Thank you for being the most supportive, loving, sweet-natured man I have ever met. I am so blessed to call you my husband. I love you, babe. Continue reading

I had so much fun this past weekend visiting with my girl, and some of my favorite people. We had so many laughs and fun times. I can't believe I drove 7 hours there and back for 1 and 1/2 days (ha). Oh well, so worth it! I got to see Caroline perform in their homecoming pep rally...that was AMAZING!!! The energy these kids have is electric! Game days in Norman are the most fun days going, and being there for homecoming was incredible. People are everywhere, and so friendly and kind. The parade was so much fun, and their... in our household. Gracie had to perform at the Nerinx/Ursuline volleyball game this week....it was so much fun! My girlfriends and I finally ate at the Mellow Mushroom (which I thought was really good), and went to see The Girl on A Train. This was one of my favorite books, and I was nervous I wouldn't like the movie as much as the book. Well, I was wrong....the movie was AMAZING! It followed the book almost to the T, and the acting was FABULOUS! We all loved the movie! This weekend the squad went to see Loverboy and Rick Springfield... Continue reading

Gracie had her homecoming, 15th bday, and Fall Festival at school, all in one weekend! To say it was crazy, is an understatement!!!! I'm worn out, but she had a blast, so I guess that is all that matters. She got her permit yesterday...only missed 1 question...I was honestly in shock! Not sure I'm ready to be driving around town with her behind the wheel, but I'm thinking I better get myself prepared pretty quickly...watch out St. Louis (ha)!!!! Continue reading

September is almost over...why is time going so quickly...ugh!!! It has been a busy month so far... Gracie went to Vianney's homecoming with a friend last weekend...she looked so pretty! She is also running for president of her freshman class...so proud of her for trying!!! We had to make a campaign poster, and this is what she came up with...I love it! She had big/little last week, and her big sister bought them shirts...thought that was so sweet. It is always nice when I get to see pictures of my sweet Caroline every now and then...she is definitely having fun... Continue reading

It has been a fun-filled week for Gracie, and a bit crazy for me (ha)....glad it is Friday, honestly. She had her freshman induction on Wednesday evening, and it was such a beautiful ceremony. What a wonderful way to bring these girls into the Ursuline family...so special. We took Mike's parents to the ballgame the other night, and look who made it onto Fox Sports during the game! He believes he is a star now...I will never live this one down!!! Continue reading

on this beautiful Monday evening. I have been so busy my head is spinning. Busy is good, but it will be easier once Gracie gets back on a schedule with school. Being her taxi driver, and trying to work, isn't the easiest thing to do (ha). I love summer, but I also love the ease of the Monday-Friday school schedule too! We got Caroline moved into her room with two of her girlfriends...they are enjoying living in the sorority house. I asked her to send me pics of the room once they got everything put away, but I'm still waiting...imagine... Continue reading

how much fun I had at Magnolia Market. To say I smiled all day, is an understatement. I seriously had the best day ever!!!! I must have walked around the store 1,000 times. Mike was such a trooper. He stood in line with the other men while I walked around (ha)! He earned major brownie points for sure! We tried to find Chip and Jo's house, but to no avail. I did find the bed & breakfast they have in McGregor, Texas. It is so cute. I swear they have a goldmine with Magnolia Market...it was wall to wall people.... Continue reading

Okay, this is going to be a bunch of "catch up" pics. I have been horrible about posting this summer, but I have loved spending some time with the girls. Life has been absolutely crazy recently. The first pic is a fruit pizza cookie I made for 4th of July and, I must say, I am proud of myself...thought it looked very patriotic (ha). This girl right here is leaving next Friday to go back to school, and I am in deep denial. The summer has gone by so quickly. I have to brag on her a bit. She was... Continue reading
