I totally agree - I like to think of most of what we are (or at least I am) saying is "here's some stuff that looks like it's headed in the right direction, let's hammer some code out and see how it goes." We did that with Salmon - knowing that it wasn't anywhere near completely baked yet, and now we have lots of insight about how to make it better.
