~ Hello, everyone! The Instant Gardeners are honored to be able to present the newest Power Poppy Instant Garden release of Graceful Still Life. So beautiful! ~ ~ From our creative genius, Marcella Hawley: To me, the most relaxing scenes are composed of elements that feel familiar, with touches of nature, style, and beauty. My home is composed of little still lifes - arranged on shelves, tabletops, windowsills, and basically anything that is not moving. This springtime still life is similar to what I'd set up in my living room: a Susie Cooper teapot filled with fresh-cut roses and trimmed... Continue reading

~ Happy Wednesday, everyone! It’s time for a new Color Throwdown challenge! Wanda is our hostess and she’s chosen a beautiful combo of Sage Green, Turquoise, Brown and Gold. ~ ~ I love the flowing pattern on the urn and decided to make a similar pattern on some watercolor paper. I used some Distress inks and Heidi Swapp gold Color Shine. ~ ~ I didn’t want to cover it up entirely so I printed this awesome quote from the brand new Power Poppy Graceful Still Life digital stamp set on vellum. Of course I just had to add a flower... Continue reading

~ Hello and happy Sunday, everybody! Today the Instant Gardeners from Power Poppy are so happy to introduce a brand new digital image called Sweet Pea Show! It’s fabulous! ~ ~ Here’s what Marcy had to say about her Sweet Pea Show: Aren’t Sweet Peas just the most nostalgic, romantic, homespun flower ever? I sure think so. I’ve created this “display” of some especially divine ones just for you — while you are coloring them up, I hope they also conjure up wonderful memories. Sweet Pea Show comes with a few Valentine’s Day sentiments, as well as a sweet little... Continue reading

~ Hello and happy Hump Day to you all! It seems like a long week to me already. One of my sweet kitties got a scratch from a feral cat a little over a week ago and it got infected and then abscessed. We’ve had surgery to remove the infection and now there is a tube running through his forehead and a hard plastic cone around his neck. He also has to stay isolated inside. That is a tall order for a cat who is normally outside 20 hours a day. He’s absolutely miserable and there’s not much I can... Continue reading
