Hi guys! How did the rest of your trip go - how was Disneyland? I hope Lily had a blast! We're in Yangshou and did the Li River yesterday as you recommended and you're darn right, it is fabulous. We finally had a day with no rain (at least, it held off til we pulled our rides in at home) and we're so pleased we saw the river. We're here for 4 days so hoping to make it back to Guilin before Honkers...such a pity we missed it. But Yangshou (despite the hawkers - Tim has become quite the surly Westerner - don't mess with him!) is bee-you-ti-ful and it's so nice to be in the great outdoors again. Are you back at home post trip? xx

Bruce! Hi! Good to hear you're enjoying it...we have spied several golf courses but there has been a distinct lack of Tim having a shot (for two reasons - they are quite elite, and me). There is actually a course in the town that we're in now designed by Jack Niclaus (I think is how you spell?!) but we've hit some doozy weather so it's currently an indoors trip for us. Would love to catch up with you guys when we get back but it'll be our turn to hear about what you have been up to - and golf and wine works just fine! Big hi to Lee and hope to see you soon. xx

Woohoo!! Happy travels! We were hoping you'd keep a blog - cannot wait to hear of all the fun and adventures you're having - the itinerary sounds so exciting! Hope the flight was tops and that you're knocking back 'dos cerveca per favor' at every available opportunity! All well on our end, have just gotten over some annoying head colds (and in the absence of Western medicine we've had to turn to a combo of mystery Chinese herbs and cleansing ales. Seems to have worked!). Just packing bags for our Yangzi cruise - hope to read of how you guy are getting on soon! Lots of love Tim and Wendy xxx PS - los sienta aya para noches (that was phonetic not actual spanish spelling!) means 'I am so sorry about last night'. Just in case you need it.
