One thing I always found interesting...
1) People on vacation are always on that vacation high where they are super friendly
3) People who drop off at Fed Ex or the Dry Cleaners, etc. are kind of exactly the opposite.
In their own little world and just trying to get to the next place. Almost robotic sometimes - LOL

It seems you always get a positive reaction no matter what you post on here. For a while you were posting about Poker Stars and your online tournament or live play.

A couple of ideas that hit me afterwards...
1) Fed Ex has Saturday delivery but its way expensive.
2) You can flag your delivery for pick up at the station and ship it a week in advance.
3) I am asumming you could probably do the same thing at the hotel.
One final note as I am reading this 50 times in here. Whether it UPS, Fed Ex, Starbucks, etc. The minute anyone rolls out the F word you will not be taken seriously by another business. If you want to be repsonded to seriously you have to stay in BUSINESS mode the whole time. Other wise you (meaning anyone) will come off as just someone off the street and not a serious potential business loss.
To flip the coin the other way around blogs and Twitter are the PERFECT place to complain if you have an issue. Pretty much the entire markteing community is focusing on Twitter as a means to get corporate America's attention.

Hey Wil,
1) I pretty much always use FED EX for shipping although I receive plenty of packages from UPS
2) I try to always use FED EX 3 day because its cheaper (Fed Ex and UPS both don't count Saturdays)
3) If INGRAM carries any of your books we could always ship them for you (I think we sent a book that you gave away in 2007 or something... LOL)
One final note if its not overnight FED EX lets you ship between 5 and 8PM which is kind of nice.

A few things I have noticed over the last few years...
1) That you dont always blog about local events (i.e. Brush Fires - local sports).
2) You dont always blog about things you have been connected to in the past (i.e. WSOP and the end of online poker).
3) You sometimes stay on the same topic for quite a while - i.e. gaming
The fact that you blog as much as you do is pretty impressive though.
