I attended a social media panel at VINO 2011 this week and one of the members was Gregory Dal Piaz, Editor in Chief of Snooth. (Talk about timing.) Especially interesting when the key talking point was "authenticity." But no mention of Snoothgate. (Yes, I just -gated it.)I'd like to think that it was because people were being respectful and he wasn't there to answer accusations or snarky tweets. (He was a good speaker, no doubt.) It was a really cool panel but by the end I think we all wanted to retire the word "millenials." (If that's even a word.) And acknowledge that Gen X and Boomers occasionally purchase a bottle of wine or two. And can operate a computer, smart phone, iPad, etc.
