Oh, I see -- sort of like Dexter versus Mandark.
Answering a FAQ: "Why do you play so many evil characters lately?"
Every actor has a particular type they can play well, for some reason or another. It doesn't necessarily have anything to do with who we are in real life, but it's just what we do well. Example: Travolta is amazing as the Lovable Loser. When he's in Welcome Back Kotter and Saturday Night Fever i...
Now if only they found you a role where you're both evil and possessed of long flowing locks like you had in "Mr. Stitch", my happy will be complete. ^_^

My daughter -might- have already seen this, but I'm delighted to discover it now -- especially the sprinkling of Shabba Doo throughout!
for all you last-minute shoppers out there...
While you're out doing your last minute holiday shopping, you may happen upon a little device known as The Slap Chop. You may have seen it on TV, and you may have heard that it purports to: "Chop up vegetables, nuts, & fruits, quickly and easily" with just a few simple slaps. And who doesn't lik...

Well there probably -will- be a new podcast this week, just not one with AQI. Seeing as how the Primal Powers book is coming out next week and all that.
I'm saying this for the last time: HIS. NAME. IS. AEOFEL!
I've been pointing out new episodes of the D&D/Penny Arcade/PvP/Me podcast on Twitter, but since the third series draws to a close today, I thought I'd catch up, and then share some thoughts on the final episode. My last post took us up to episode three, so... Episode Four: In this episode, the...
Ooh, oh! What if, in his short term of service to Melora, he garnered enough of her favor to be reborn as a Deva?!?!?! Huh?! Huh?!
Well I liked the idea anyway...

I got the episode twenty seven hours ago. I've been kind of depressed for twenty six and a half or so hours, give or take time asleep. And to think, six days ago I was so jazzed about my Shaman simultaneously delivering a baby and breaking a many-generations long death curse on the mother. The cycle of D&D life, man.

I honestly thought, just for a moment, when the close-up happened, that this was some awesome neck tattoo you might have been sporting. Definitely big though. I can't say a word against your reaction -- I freak out when -other- people have bugs fly at them; when they come at -me- it's even worse than that.
for the record, that beetle weighed 800 pounds and was carrying a knife
Season Three of The Guild is well underway, and Felicia just released the gag reel for our first four episodes, so I thought I'd embed everything that's available so far in one convenient place: Episode One: "Yes. We are." Episode Two: "To clarify: your group should be behind t...
Eee! Happy birthday to me! I can hardly wait for the download to finish! Oh it IS finished! I listen now! "Delicious!"
D&D Penny Arcade Podcast: Series Three
Somehow, I forgot to mention that the third series of D&D podcasts featuring Penny Arcade, Scott Kurtz, and Wil Wheaton (that's me!) has been available for a couple of weeks. Here are links to the episodes that are currently online: Series Three, Episode One It's Fallcrest, midwinter, and sno...
I would be SO happy if the next episode were to come out, oh, say, tomorrow? Seeing as how it's my 43rd birthday and all. Gotta ease the pain of leaving 42 behind somehow, eh? I've been listening to all the episodes from the beginning (even the first eight before you joined the party) a *lot* while working on my own character for the LFR games our local shop has been hosting for the last two months or so. You know, character sketching, developing backstory, all that. She's a Razorclaw Shifter Shaman, and I've been having loads of fun. I hadn't played since 2nd Edition was replaced by 3rd.
Uh, let's not dwell on the nearly twenty 2nd ED books crammed into my bookshelves, shall we?

Oh no! Now I have to wipe tear stains off my glasses from the laughing! Too awesome!
Behind the rabbit? It IS the rabbit.
I'm slowly but surely clawing my way back into the land of the living with the relentless determination and singular sense of purpose that can only be found in a recently reanimated corpse on a quest for brains. It's appropriate, because I feel very much like I'd imagine the recently-deceased wo...
See, this is why you'll never really be old -- because you have that kind of gleeful delight and you're not the least bit shy of sharing it!
wil wheaton gets lucky ... sometimes
This was the ultimate highlight of my #PAX 2009, and watching it again just now brought tears to my eyes again. I'm not worthy of something this awesome. Thank you Jonathan, and Paul, and Storm, and Molly for making me feel cool. I <3 you guys.
Got it watched -- with a bit of selective rewinding and rewatching for choice moments, I might add. Couldn't get enough of the last scene you had, the stammering was priceless! I actually have watched the show from the first airing of the pilot episode, but this one is by and large my favorite to date! And hey, spin-off may not be in the cards, but I can definitely get behind a "Wrath of Chaos" ep next season!
Leverage - The Two Live Crew Job
Early feedback from tonight's episode of Leverage is overwhelmingly positive, which delights me. I'm so happy to hear that so many people liked it. If you've seen the show already, you may get a kick out of the pictures I took during production and just added to Flickr, but there are spoilers, s...
I am saving the show for later today, since I'm like elderly and stuff. Well, older than you, anyway. But I'm really psyched to watch it!
