Thank you for your honestly. I think this was a painting that I needed to paint, to prove to myself that I can paint just like everyone else. I don't know if that makes sense, but sometime I feel as though my girls are not appreciated as 'art'. This painting was really a confidence building exercise. I really do appreciate you comments (like my husband who also prefers my Amelias)So I have spent a week soul searching and have made the decision to paint my big eyed girls on large canvas and embrace my art. I am going to paint an exhibition of my girls.

Hi Karen, I was sleeping when you emailed me but you know you are always welcome to BeeSpot my art. I just bought myself a little Bee inspired artwork of Etsy this week and I am so excited for when it arrives. I will email you a photo when I get it.

Thanks Kaz but she needs to spread her wings and find a new home. Best of luck with the study this year, my course starts in early Feb and like you I will be a mature age student.

Oh, he is wonderful. I have a little boy on the drawing table right now, but he is a one off...boyfriend to my new character Witchetty. I completely understand the complexities of drawing a little lad that doesn't look like a lass....very trying. You have done a wonderful job and his story was delightful. I will be back to 100 dresses next week. I got a little sidetracked with xmas and then then I had to inspiration to bring Witchetty to life (in the flesh so to speak) and she has been terribly demanding. I feel that 2009 is going to be a wonderful, wonderful adventure. xx Bee

I think she is a poet too, she has been writing stories and poems in her spare time for years, basically since she could write!

Oh, you have snow!!! It is starting to get hot here as we lead into Summer. Love the ice on a stick but it would look ridiculous hanging near out tree. Ice on a stick refers to a lovely summery treat to eat here!

Oh, the birthday party is an art I have just never perfected. I just find it too difficult to co-ordinate it all to fit together, and my profession before having my daughter....child care!! Ha! This year I have found the most wonderful company that provides a pamper party and keeps girls occupied. All I need do is supply the birthday food. Fingers crossed.

Doh, that will teach me to get super busy writing and drawing and renovating in my own little world. I missed the award and prove I had been a remiss web buddy. You are too tricky Karen and caught me out. Thank you for the award though ;) xxx
