I think the promise of Social Media is far in front of the actual SM delivery. I too have far fewer followers than some, but I wonder if having 35K followers means anything. I mean, who can follow 27,000 people? Meaningless. I don't block folks, but I am pretty careful about who I follow back. I don't pretend to get all this stuff.
