I've got so much love for pink lately. It's such a cute accessory colour and I've been reaching for both old and new wardrobe favourites in fuchsia a lot lately. And it's the colour of my new favourite lipstick. It's so bright and so vivid and STILL so easy to wear. Obsessed! See? Lipstick // Max Factor Elixir in Bewitching Coral Brogues // Topshop (old but similar pink flats at Spartoo shoes) Shorts // Monki Laser cut clutch* // New Look Necklace* // Claire's Accessories (only £5!) Photos by Hanna Kristina. What colours are you loving lately? I'm also obsessed... Continue reading

It's Summer! Ok, it's not but I'm trying to make it so by sheer force of will, I swear. While I'm waiting for the real sunshine, I'm rocking these super sweet Sally skinny jeans by 2nd Day and pretending to get my Vitamin D from their cheerful colour alone! I was really pleased to be contacted by Black White Denim to take part in their #BlogProjectSS13. They picked these jeans for me - which is brave because choosing clothes for me is DANGEROUS - but happily I love the skinny shape and fresh lemon colour. I think they look especially... Ok, the rumours are true: I've been listening to a lot of Taylor Swift lately. Maybe a bit too much, in fact. But I'm not ashamed! And you know what? I think my unadulterated love for Taylor is filtering through to my wardrobe a little bit. She has a classic vintage style that I adore; I especially love it in her styled to perfection Begin Again video set in Paris! I think that inspiration has had me reaching for my long neglected 1950s style dresses for the first time in a long while. It feels so good to wear them... Continue reading

It's been a crazy busy weekend with a big workout session, a surprise trip to the ballet (thanks to my step-sister!), a wedding reception (congrats, Vicki and Ed!) and a photoshoot. And, quite deservedly, a nice nap and a lot of pizza. I'm now in bed trying to get some work done but wanted to squeeze in a quick blog post before the week is over! I'm feeling quiet tonight so just wanted to share with with you these photos taken by Hanna Kristina. I love this knits peplum and cute bow on the back. Perfect for simple Sunday style,... Time for another One Skirt, Five Ways! This week I've gone for this Raoul multi check mini skirt from my new online discovery Jules B. I've been obsessed with kilts and checks lately. This cutie is on sale and is now £57 down from £198! Inadvertently - although, I suspect this was heavily influenced by the skirt itself - this is an ENTIRELY black, white and red One Skirt, Five Ways. Hope you like that colour combo, kids! Sure, these Miista Batilda boots probably make more than their fair share of appearances on Wolf Whistle but, heck, I love them.... Continue reading

It's Spring! At last! I think! I was getting so sick of this whole Winter-without-end thing that the sunshine this week has been a serious tonic to me. I'm so starved of Vitamin D that even my Winter foundation is getting too dark for me. Not cool, my friends! This outfit is one of my go-to Spring looks. Despite always saying that I'm not actually into yellow, this yellow dress is one of my favourites. I've had it for years and always like to pull it out when the sun is shining. Here I am wearing it two years ago,... Continue reading

This outfit makes me think of those terrible jokes I used to tell as a kid. What's black and white and red all over? A newspaper! Ok: it's only one lipstick flash of red but the rest is definitely black and white all over. And including spots and stripes, just for fun! I'm a sucker for anything with my name or initials on it so I couldn't resist this Forever 21 jacket, especially as it was only a tenner in the sale. I picked up these kind of insane/totally amazing aeroplane earrings at the Clothes Show when I was there... Continue reading

Sometimes I feel redundant saying" You guys: I LOVE this outfit!!1!" because, you know, obviously I like it. After all, I liked it enough to take photos of it. No-one wants to fill their blog with pictures of them looking terrible in outfits they hate, right? But this outfit? This one I really love, exclamation marks galore. It's a simple outfit in construction - jumper, trousers, boots, clutch, necklace, DONE - but I love each of these pieces so hard that wearing them all together is just a dream. WHAT I'M WEARING Jumper* // Boutique by Jaeger Trousers // New... Continue reading

This Monday I headed down to the ALLSAINTS Earlham Street store in Covent Garden to get a sneak peek at their new exhibition #TheBikerProject. This exhibition is heading around the world and is open to the public now - catch it while you can! Inside a stripped bare warehouse hang dozens of gorgeous leather jackets from past collections and new. I fell in love with a womens leather and sheepskin design beginning to be stroked, and a mens jacket with muted plaid inserts that looked so cosy. And, of course, an obxlood one with contrasting navy sleeves. That one was... Continue reading

Three awesome bloggers (Jen, Olivia and Natasha) have teamed up with MoneySupermarket to judge #PassionforFashion2, a competition focused on creating three outfits for three different occassions - Beach, Casual and Party - for under £200. Read more on how to enter here! And, heck, I just thought: why not, right? I love this kind of stuff! And, you know, I wouldn't mind winning a prize because I'm not a total fool. I had a lot of fun cramming as much gorgeousness into my allocated £200 per outfit as I could but it was super important to me to pick stuff... Continue reading

I'm writing this from my bed while the snow falls outside. Spring officially started four days ago but it obviously didn't get the memo! But it is coming soon, right? Despite the fact that I'm snuggled under the duvet right now... Wonderful photographer Hanna Kristina and I took these photos a couple of weeks ago in London, believe it or not. There's a small pretend beach when the tide rolls out on the Southbank that we adventurously clambered down to. Even though it was freezing, the sun was shining and for a minute we could pretend that it was Spring... Continue reading

Ready for another edition of One Skirt, Five Ways? Hell yeah, chums! I'm going to be a bridesmaid when my dearest friends Richard and Somerset get married in September and we're busy shopping for bridesmaid dresses at the moment. Their colour scheme is coral and navy - which I love, fricking LOVELOVELOVE - and it's got me thinking about coral in a new way. The shops are full of it at the moment! And, as the weather is the most depressing thing of all time right now, coral is giving me a nice little lift. Which is why I'm PROPER... Continue reading

I'm sure you've all seen Boohoo's new awesome competition #GlobalStyler floating around the blogosphere. All you need to do is tweet or Instagram yourself with #GlobalStyler wearing your Boohoo piece and holding the printed sign (available here) with your city on. The prize is a holiday to the place of your choice! Um, TOO GOOD. I couldn't resist entering - I'm totally thinking TOKYO! WHAT I'M WEARING Polka dot trousers // Boohoo* Jumper // H&M Shoes // Nelly* Bag // Topshop (ancient!) (*gifted to me) I teamed my awesome black and white polka dot trousers with a very old heart... Today is a day I've been waiting for for a long, long time! Me and the love of my life are moving in together in a cute little flat in East London. We started yesterday and moved all his stuff. Today it's my turn! I am typing this surrounded by bin liners full of my clothes. Perhaps unsurprisingly I have a LOT of clothes and sadly this is never more obvious than when I move. I asked my Twitter followers yesterday to guess how many bin liners I would need to pack up my wardrobe. They guessed between 8 -... Continue reading

This is fast becoming my go to outfit when I want to feel pulled together but also CUTE. I just feel so sassy in this, why is that? Maybe because it's an outfit I put together for very cheap (the thrill of the bargain, right?) AND because it is composed of all my current favourite pieces. Double whammy! WHAT I'M WEARING Jacket // jumble sale Necklace // New Look (similar here and here) Tee // ASOS Clutch // gift Jeans // Miss Selfridge* Boots // Miista ...and Colourburst lip butter by Revlon in Candy Apple 2012 was the year I... It's a beautiful day in London today! Well. It was beautiful: it's now grey and horrid and returning to gloom. But this morning was a beautiful morning and, like I said in my last post, I'm feeling Spring-like. I'm trying to bring the Spring on by sheer force of will power, ok? I've been immersing myself in Spring/Summer lookbooks to harness that feeling and also to inspire myself, as I'm in real glum rut at the moment. I need to shake out this can't-be-bothered-to-get-dressed feeling and look lively now, please, in time for London Fashion Week! Here are seven of... Continue reading

It's Spring! In my heart! Well, kind of. After all, it was Groundhog Day yesterday and Punxsutawney Phil didn't see his shadow, so I'm hoping winter is kind of drawing to a close. There's definitely something fresh in the air, at least, so I'm busy wishfully compiling my Spring wishlist. Top of it is some desert boots and these ladies shoes by Clarks have kinda killed it. Clarks do the original and the best desert boot. Iconic and timeless, I've always loved this look on a boy but am totally digging it for me this season, too. Clarks have teamed... Continue reading

I've done a handful of these One Skirt, Five Ways posts now (with an ASOS checked skirt, a Phase Eight red pencil skirt and a Next polka dot skirt) but this is the first time I've done it with a skirt I actually own. See me in it here! I've styled it a whole different bunch of ways myself but I really wanted to do a post on it, especially as it's now in the sale! The skirt was £40 but is now £25 ... actually it's £15! I've worn this skirt absolutely loads and it is totally worth £15.... Continue reading

It feels like a hundred years ago already but recently I went to see New Look's gorgeous SS13 collection! I'm a big New Look fan in general and every season at press day I fall in love with half a dozen things without fail. This season they had a very cute little bloggers section where we could go and style an outfit from the new season. Naturally, I got carried away (nonsurprise #1) and then couldn't decide anything (nonsurprise #2) so I did three outfits with all my favourite bits. Three! My first look is all monochrome with a pop... Continue reading

Happy New Year, everyone! 2012 was a pretty good year for me. Blogging has opened up lots of great opportunities for me. Amazing opportunities, actually! I was featured in Company magazine - not once but twice! I was thrilled to be nominated for a Cosmo Blog Award and to have my photo taken by the talented Jackie Dixon for Timex. I got to work with some great brands including Warehouse, L.K. Bennett, Spartoo, Westfield, Next, 02, Bertie and French Connection. I'm a lucky girl! And, on a personal level, being a bridesmaid for my BFF Mia and taking my love... Continue reading

I've held back on posting this for a few weeks so that I can be FULL ON CHRISTMASSY with the minimal pissing you guys off. But, seriously, I cannot hold back anymore. IT'S CHRISTMAS RIGHT NOW! It's even my work Christmas party this afternoon so I'm writing this in a big fancy dress, about to put on some make-up and go get thoroughly festive. And drunk. Also drunk. I've been feeling festive for ages though and that's probably the fault of Mariah Carey, my mum's excitement and the awesome #KNITB4XMAS party I went to at the Ice Bar courtesy of... Continue reading

I took these photos of this sweet and simple outfit a few weeks ago and thought I'd share them with you this lazy Sunday while I'm catching up on Gossip Girl, all sleepy after a huge roast dinner. (Can you believe GG finale is tomorrow? I hope it'll be suitably ridiculous. I will miss Blair's headbands!) I chose this River Island bag as a birthday present a couple of years ago and it's gotten a LOT of use since. It's just the perfect size and the art deco inspired pattern on it is so pretty. They did it in navy... Continue reading

You guys: I'M FEELING CHRISTMASSY. Photo of Sarah and I grinning inanely at the Clothing at Tesco Christmas press day. I've been a good girl and held off on posting these Christmas photos of me and my love until the festive season was really in the air! Never mind that I've been listening to Mariah Carey's Christmas albums on almost daily basis for six weeks. Ahem. I've also been feeling extra Christmassy this week as I've been busy organising my Secret Santas! I'm taking part in five SIX (!) this holiday season: one for work, one with friends, one through...
