Here's an idea - Why not move The Taste to the parking lots of Soldier's Field? The City gave the Bears huge tax write-offs, so housing the Taste might be one of the conditions for Corporate tax-free (reduced) housing on Lakefront property. The event currently causes a traffic nightmare generally for the whole Loop, and in particular for Southside residents. I love urban excitement but am currently out of town taking refuge until the Taste is over.
