Actually, I'm pretty sure "Shorty" is referring to Rondo....KG, in his most recent interview repeatedly called Rondo Shorty. Just saying. Also....Is it true Paul just got traded to the Clippers? If so... that's fine with me. Rondo...despite his outburst at the end of last season which was kind of disappointing...has really shown that he really is serious about maturing now so...I think this year he will become so much more about the team and less about himself (and please...there are plenty of players who are more stuck on themselves than Rondo has ever been..so that's kind of harsh, and I don't think he has ever been truly stuck on himself. Maybe stubborn and upset at losing sometimes..but I do think he is a team player). :) I'm so glad he will remain a Celtic.. They're all he's ever known and I know a lot of people are complaining and upset cause we won't have CP3....but Rondo has done a lot for the Celtics in the years he's been with them, and I don't think that can be denied or forgotten. So, I'm looking forward to seeing Rondo in that green jersey....along with all the other Celtics...this season, Starting on SUNDAY!!! :D

I think they still have a pretty good chance! The only thing....we might want another Center at least. That's what hurt them last year and this year it's an area we really need to focus on building on. That's about it!! Can't wait for Sunday :)

Ohhhh. That must be why Rondo asked to meet personally with Doc, to talk about getting rid of some of the plays. I'm super excited for the playoffs!! I'm not worried about the first round.

It's nice to see Rondo, Pierce, and Ray supporting the bench so much. I'm thinking they have finally warmed up to all the new guys and are trying to build that chemistry back up again. When Rondo was laughing at Pierce, it made me laugh too. hahaha

I'm not talking about just this article. But there are many articles that I have read and people are talking about losing faith and how they are now rooting for other teams. I know it gets hard for the fans too and I know these losses have been very upsetting, I was just trying to make a point that no matter what, we should still support them. It came out harsher then I meant it to now that I read over it...but calm down. I honestly didn't mean to be mean, sorry.

It really is disappointing to see the Celtics losing these games that all should have been blowouts. But, reading these comments are just as disappointing if not, more. What kind of fan gives up on their team when they hit a rough spot? The C's are NOT perfect and if it takes these games for everyone to realize this, then that's pretty sad. Do NOT give up on them yet. If they are going to get back on track, it would be easier with ALL of their fans still supporting them. Please do not give up yet. I'm going to get a lot of crap for saying all of this but it is true. The season is definitely not over yet. There's still time for them to get focused again. And we all know they bring everything to the court in the playoffs. Yes. We are disappointed and that's okay. But what's not okay is giving up on them when they hit rough spots. So move on and get over it. They still have a chance. =]

I honestly don't like Rasheed. It seems like all he did was stay up along the three point line. That wasn't the reason we got him. The Celtics needed him to be down low, getting those boards, and he never really did that. Also, he rarely ran up the court, unlike Chris Johnson. I don't mind that guy. He hustles up and down the court. He's tall. He gets boards. He's young and in great condition... unlike JO who hasn't really played much at all this season. Not that it truly matters if he's healthy. He's always in foul trouble three minutes into the game. I say the C's should give Johnson a longer chance to help out. We don't know for sure if the Celtics are getting Murphy or anyone else. We don't know for sure if JO and Shaq will get better soon and we don't know how long they'll last once they get back... as seen with Delonte who already sprained his ankle (I really really hope he gets better soon and that it's not serious. He gave a good boost of energy coming off the bench and is really the only back up point guard for Rondo and Rondo can't keep playing tons of minutes each game). My point is, Johnson could be really helpful for the Celtics if they keep him around. He's not great, but he's decent for a rookie. It also allows Doc to give the other bigs a break.

I wouldn't want to give up on Marquis too soon. Even if he doesn't come back this season, he was having a pretty great season before his injury. And if the Celtics give him time to recover, when he comes back next season he could be just as good. He offers so much to the C's. He's definitely one of their best defenders coming off the bench and he's good at getting to the hoop. Honestly I do think the Celtics would be better off trading Robinson although that would mean one less back up point guard for Rondo and who knows if West will have more problems with his wrist... He looked pretty good last night though. My point... don't trade Marquis just yet.

This is by far one of the best plays this season. And the fact that the Celtics were versing the Heat made it all that much better... ;P
