Hi Shirley - so sorry I didn't pick up your comment at the time, was having a combination of Typepad-time-off and computer meltdown! Thanks for being so kind, feel free to use whatever you want!!
Two little houses, a Bourbon biscuit and a soap box ...
Just some nice images (well, hopefully you'll think they're nice too!) ... firstly, a little knitted house. Now, here's a little felt house ... Okay, here's a felty Bourbon biscuit. Not many calories in this. Finally, I love coming across images that would translate well into need...

Very much a work in progress
I'm not sure at this stage whether this needlepoint pattern will work. There's always a stage when you're a 1/3rd or halfway through and you're convinced the design's no good. Usually it works out okay in the end, but sometimes you just have to admit it's a turkey!! I think the middle sectio...

Hi Wendy - thanks for your comment and for stopping by the blog. I think 2009 should be the year when I stop frittering away money on little bits and pieces I dont really want, and save it to splurge on the things I really do value - Selvedge being one of them. Im making a plan at the monent for a short break to London, perhaps in the new year, and want to do the rounds of Loop and lots of other crafty type shops. I think theyd be so inspiring.
Best wishes

Nattering about knitting ...
I've been thinking for ages about a knitting project I'd like to do, and finally the idea's coming together. I love the whole 'urban knitting' movement, 'yarn bombing', 'guerilla knitting' or whatever you care to call it. Also, I love knitting but it's more the process of knitting than the e...
Love that Abraham owl - delightfully goofy!

Hi everyone! Today I'll just do a short post (just two patterns to share). I hope everyone is busy getting to their holiday destinations and gathering together with friends and family for the Christmas celebrations (YAY for Christmas week!!!). It's freezing cold here now (at least by Texas ...
