Lyssa, I can only imagine how disappointed you must feel right now! That is soooo terrible. I agree with Britney about considering the cash to take a little vacation yourselves when it is convenient, or maybe you have a good stamping friend who can keep you company on the cruise? It kind of takes away something of the excitement of earning the incentive trip, I imagine :S
If you need someone to go with, I might be free...I'm just sayin ;)
Anyway, I am confident that this is only one of MANY trips you will earn, and Mike is sure to be able to go on ONE! :)
*hugs*
Some unfortunate news
Yesterday I got some very unfortunate news that has me feeling pretty low. My long-suffering, ever patient, ever encouraging husband Mike is not going to be allowed the time off in April to come with me on the Stampin' Up cruise we earned together last year. Mike is not only my helpmeet and the...
That piece reminds me of an hour glass - perfect for the Sense of Time set! :)
That's what I can use that piece for!
I cut out about a zillion Top Notes a week (actual count, I swear) and I have often looked at the little piece that's left over between two cuts and thought a creative person would do something clever with them instead of throw them away like I do. So this week in the Great Table-Cleaning Purg...
Looks great! Mine arrives on Thursday...can't wait!
My first My Digital Studio page!
Oh my WORD this is so fun!!! I just love Stampin' Up's new software. I'll try to remember what all I did to this page. It was my first done without any pre-made templates or layouts. Let's see... I chose a background DSP and "layered" a few pieces of DSP on top. I added two photos, cropped ...
It's not even FUNNY how many unfinished projects I have on my stamp table - what is funny is that I finished off a few last night too! Great minds think alike ;)
Cleaning up my table...
I have a few fun cards to show you. Yesterday I realized I couldn't stamp a thing or even sit down in my stamp room because there were so many little piles of half-finished projects. So I set about finishing a few of them! It felt good to actually get some of them done and also to try out the...
Dude - total bummer. Although I agree with Jana - I didn't notice either:)
Dude! Bummer.
Dude, I made this really cool card and I really took my time with it, man, and came back to it, like, four times 'cause it was so rad and tried again, which is like, SO not me. I like used Shimmer Paint and everything, man. And then it was like, the very last step, dude, and I was all stoked, ...
Cute cute cute!
Here is some punch art I CASE'd recently (there's nothing new under the sun, right?!) :)

Chipboard Jumbo Clips!
Here is another project I did last year using the round chipboard discs from On Board Accents to make these fun jumbo clips: I sandwiched the jumbo clip between two of the chipboard circle disks and used Crystal Effects to bond them together! There were a variety of punches used to make thes...
What a fantastic technique! I have been a demo for 2 years, and I've actually never come across that one before - it looks GREAT for a super easy workshop WOW! TFS :)
Technique Tuesday; Wheelin' Frames
This month Stampin' Up! is having their "Free Wheelin" promotion. When you purchase any one of the six selected stamp sets featured in this promotion, you will get the matching Jumbo Wheel Free! You can learn more about it here. Each month I choose a Stampin' Up! product as my Feature Pr...
SUCH a gorgeous card Laura - what a CASE! :)
Featured Stamper: Michelle
Another Featured Stamper challenge! This week it's Michelle, (SF9erfan), and she has an awesome gallery. One quick sweep through it and I had earmarked about 7 possible cards to CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit). I finally narrowed my selection down to this card of Michelle's. And, to be sp...
Gorgeous card! I'm an admirer of Silke's work, and you have definitely done it justice:)

CASE-ing Silke aka "Sparklegirl"
Just once this month, I would like to create and post my challenge card on the day of the challenge! I thought I just might squeak this one in, but the hours grew too late for a Sunday, so here I am again, a day late. Our Featured Stamper is one of my favorites "Sparklegirl" or Silke Led...
What a fabulous journal - I love your take on the inspiration piece!

A Dirty Challenge
Every month on the 20th, the Dirty Dozen, current and alumni are invited to participate in a challenge. I was thrilled to receive the invitation, and couldn't wait to play. This month it was an inspiration challenge, and Jami shared this photo display from BH&G 100 Decorating Ideas Under $1...
