I am pretty pleased of these two cards I shared on Facebook Live yesterday. I've been wanting to make some spooky Halloween cards with my Life is Beautiful stamp set and think they turned out amazing, IF I do say so myself! This first one features a bright, white moon with a halo of purple around it. I used a 2" circle punched 'mask' and sponged the Rich Razzleberry and Pacific Point background. You can get my easy sponging tips... Continue reading

Who doesn't like a customized card WITH your name on it! You won't find that at Hallmark! Use the Playful Alphabet dies to create a one of a kind card. I made this for my granddaughter Eliza. She is almost 7 and loves anything with her name on it. The color palette was chosen by the designer paper Playing with Patterns. It's full of bright, unique colors and patterns. In fact, behind her name is a piece of the paper.... Continue reading

There are times I like to color and others that I don't. I came up with this cool technique using the Wink of Stella pen and White Craft ink to highlight my main image. I pressed a clear block directly onto my White Craft ink pad and used that to pick up the ink with my Wink of Stella pen. You sure don't have to use a clear block but I didn't want to get Wink of Stella in my... Continue reading

I had a lot of fun mixing up the patterns in this super cute designer paper on a Facebook Live video. *See it below. First is a play on triangles. These pieces are just 3/4" wide X 3" long! What a fun way to use your scraps!! Cut 6 pieces of Designer Paper at 3/4" X 3" and then cut each one from one corner to the opposite one. Now you can piece these together on a contrasting piece of... Continue reading

I made this shadow box home decor piece with my Life is Beautiful stamp set. It fits in a 12" shadow box frame. Here's the Life is Beautiful stamp set I helped design as part of my Million Dollars in sales achievement with Stampin' Up!. You can order it here. Two tips! The 'ground' image can also be clouds! Cool, right? And if you stamp the tree twice, you can achieve a 'thicker' trunk and fuller tree. Just lower the... Continue reading
