Didn't Steph from Adventures in Baby Wearing twitter during the birth of her daughter, Lily? I wonder if people had negative things to say about her tweets too? I don't see what the big deal is. This is the world we live in now. With the internet and social media, we share our experiences with each other. If you don't like it, unfollow or don't read along. Very simple. (I used to love watching A Baby Story on TLC. Talk about TMI!! now that show was revealing!)

How is the re-entry, Robin? I suspect that culture clash is part of the problem with the lack of writing. You might want to give that a freewrite to see what starts to flow... m PS I know at least one of my Twitter followers joined compassion bloggers and signed on to sponsor a child - I suspect because of all the bloggy attention given to India. :) Isn't that great?

I've twittered in church. The Good Friday service. I sat in the back, kept it low key (didn't wave my phone around) and made sure it was okay with my pastor. Did you know one of the largest churches in Seattle encourages it's members to tweet during services? I think it's great.

Does a 14 year old really need a cell phone?? I feel bad for her, she made a stupid mistake and now is most likely embarrassed beyond what I've ever experienced, but come on... a 14 year old should know better. I hope her parents threw the phone in the garbage. IMHO

E, I'm glad you got the help you needed, even after the doctor told you everything was normal. I hate to think of all the women that don't pursue getting the help they need after their OB/Gyn tells them all will pass soon. It's a good lesson in being persistent.

you know what really got to me? when they used those little kids to "celebrate" the win for best picture and then shipped them back to the slums in India. sick.

The children with the tiny red ribbons tug at my heart. I just want to love all over them.
