The Marquis de Sade was a fascinating but complex man. The word sadist comes from his name. But I just feel he summed it up so well! kristi
Thanks Jennifer, but I also have another blog where I talk about what is going on in my coin perdu. http://theamericanfrog.typepad.fr/an_american_in_sologne kristi anderson Saint Jacques - le coin perdu 15, place de léglise 45240 Ligny le Ribault www.TheAmericanFrog.com http://TheAmericanFrog.typepad.fr TheAmericanFrog@aol.com
Nadege, We have all those here also but I thought it would be fun to show other edible ones that most people dont know about. Of course no one should eat a mushroom unless they are 100% sure of what it is. I am going mushroom hunting today! kristi anderson Saint Jacques - le coin perdu 15, place de léglise 45240 Ligny le Ribault www.TheAmericanFrog.com http://TheAmericanFrog.typepad.fr TheAmericanFrog@aol.com

Nadege, I did sweet pototatoes, or rather, yams last year. Parboiled then baked with maple syrup and sprinkled with cranberries. This year that is what I thought I bought. But these were real sweet potatoes, white inside. Unfortunately when I peeled them they turned black. So I replaced them with the wild rice. kristi anderson Saint Jacques - le coin perdu 15, place de léglise 45240 Ligny le Ribault www.TheAmericanFrog.com http://TheAmericanFrog.typepad.fr TheAmericanFrog@aol.com

Nadege, It is actually Liquor de Cranberry , the brand is Marie Brizard. But if you cant find it cranberry juice will do. I serve it with a sparking wine rather than real Champagne. I hope tonights Thanksgiving (only 12) will be just as good! kristi anderson Saint Jacques - le coin perdu 15, place de léglise 45240 Ligny le Ribault www.TheAmericanFrog.com http://TheAmericanFrog.typepad.fr TheAmericanFrog@aol.com
