Okay! I'm going to go the next time I need a trim. This is the fixed version of my cut...the first one was all the short stuff around my ears plus a bunch of long scraggle bits he left underneath...a bit like a rat tailey mullet (shudder). Why? Just why. I had my girl Kelsey fix it (you know you are desperate when you beg your go-to hair girl on mat-leave to fix a botched cut).
Sigh....
Went in for a 'trim' of my collar bone length hair and ended up with this. Is curly hair THAT confounding to stylists? Seriously he just.kept.cutting.and.cutting. Sigh. Now to grow it back out. Argh.
Sigh....

She's a mini schnoodle. She's lovely, soft and totally snuggable.
Never Work With Kids Or Animals....
Simply because they'll out-cute you every time. Meet Inu. Our furry four legged family member. She is rather sweet and unusually loving. The kids fight over who gets to snuggle her. She's just happy to be loved.

Jeff: It was hectic. I'm still in recovery mode. I'll keep you posted on the saga of the missing socks.
Christa: YES! I do feel lighter. Plus, I can see the floor in my bedroom again. It's prettier than I remembered.
Susanne: You, my friend, just might be the enabler I've been looking for. I will think of you when I find that next great vintage dress I can't possibly pass up. I'll think to myself, 'Susanne would approve.'
Today Was THE Day...
Today I got started on my big push to get this house once and for all organized and the way I want it. I caved and hired a cleaning service to come do the weekly scrubbing down part and while they were battling dirt, I battled the clutter and chaos. Today's job - clothes. Cleaning, purging, o...

Oh you are lovely! And the feeling is mutual.
AND if you ever make it to my neck of the woods, or vice versa, you are so on.
Friday Freefall....
A while ago I did a show with Bumbershoot Children's Theatre called Munsch Ado About Nothing. A lively show that combined several Robert Munsch stories into one. It was a lot of work, but also, thanks mainly to a fantastic cast a whole lotta fun. Here's a few of my favourite pictures taken of ...

Just To Be Clear....
Fecal dust is not a term we throw around here regularly. It's a term we use in order to communicate effectively the importance of hygiene. Germs are just too, too, um, well, invisible. We found it necessary to make it... Continue reading

My intolerance of other peoples behaviour in public is rather alarming. I shock myself at times. I'm with you friend....I'm soooo with you.
Letters To Strangers......
Dear Fellow Shoppers, Let me start by saying that while I recognize and appreciate your right to smoke in the parking lot of the local Giant(!) Bargain(!) Warehouse(!!) type grocery store, I do not appreciate that you are blowing your smoke my way. Especially since you were not simply smoking a...

Oh It's On....
Okay, I'm doing it. NaBloPoMo, here I come. Watch out, November is probably going to get a little crazy as I try to blog my way through the month.
Oh! it's so good to know I'm not alone in the crazy ass world! Also, ditto. ;)
Add It To The List....
Yesterday was such a spectacular day. Even today, it's still sinking in. Think of it like this - if my life was a book, then yesterday someone opened it up to the index in the back and took a yellow highlighter and marked all the negative parts - whether I was responsible for them or not. Ye...
