The market was incredible, and it isn't even close to being as elaborate as Paris' famous food markets. The best part of the experience was that we went shopping with a chef, went back to his shop (and private kitchen) to cook our meal, and then we got to eat what we had made. It was by far the best meal we had while in Lyon.

Oh yeah? Well, last month I didn't cook AT ALL. (And I mean it!!) I ate (gasp!) processed fast food many a time. (like Sonic hickory burgers and tots 3 times a week..ahhh, grad school) Man, after all of this butter and cream (and heartburn) I'm about ready for some hamburger helper. But, you know me, I don't run a mile, I run a marathon... Nothin' in moderation for this gal.

Sure! I also plan to make a chocolate soufflé. I'm pretty sure I'd be happy w/ my French cooking adventure with desserts only. :-)

Yes, it is a Jones trip. We're going to Lyon...the culinary capital of France. We'll have a chance to visit the Burgundy and Beaujolais wine regions. Matt can't drink wine b/c of all the sugar, so I'll have to make up for the both of us. :-) Miss you too!!
