37 library books? That's pure bliss. Ava seems to have discovered that board book are not just for gnawing and is a huge fan of story hour. I picked up a few new ones at the bookstore to try to entertain her for our flight to Spain at the end of the month. Hopefully a little bit of novelty will go a long way!

How kind you are to check in Von! Needless to say, blogging has fallen by the wayside. I truly am in awe of all the mom's who manage to get it done! I can't believe my wee one was once so small. She's now an uber crawler with seven teeth, a love of pesto and hummus and excellent skills making funny faces.
You're most welcome. I love your photos, and your and so many others make me anxious to get to know my camera better, expecially with the little pea on the way. As for me, I've been sleeping a bit better, and am a bit anxious for some tests on Monday. It's good to write it out...soothing somehow, you know? Best of luck on that job! I hope it works out.

The quote is a great teaser Von -- and a scary one. I feel like that often about writing about my depression. Lord knows I wish I could find more meaningful blog content out there, but it seems most thoughtful people are as timid as I am in "putting it out there." There's also something scary about voicing any sort of dream. I've become to afraid to be disappointed that I'm hesitant to air them, thus really dreaming them. Sounds kind of nutty saying it. Here's to feeling a little more energized and less bored!

What great photos Von. I love the one with the tree. I can only imagine what magic she's breathing in out there.

Thanks so much Von, and for being my lone commenter. I suspect I have a few lurkers but while much of this dialogue is really a monologue for myself and my muse, it's assuring to think these experiences are common and resonate for others as well. I'm off to check out a few other posts and will see what you're up to in Australia...and perhaps to give myself a shot at those seven things. I love things like that and had such a blast with the facebook challenge a number of months back.

Von, you were kind enough to visit my blog back in the spring at the beginning of the Unravelling class. I wish I'd made better use of the class, but really enjoyed exploring so many talented women's blogs and photographs. I go in and out of writing & photography "vigor" and perusing blogs like yours inspiring. The insomnia has been rough -- due to some medication changes. I think tonight will be better, and I did take a delicious nap. Thanks for your well wishes!

What lovely photos Von. I'm so glad to have rediscovered you in my reader. Your thoughts on sleep speak to me -- I'm having a hard time as I'm newly pregnant and filled with worry, hiccups and a little too much midnight blogging enthusiasm. Make that 2:40 enthusiasm. Cheers, Kate
