Lately, as my family grows older, I am trying to 'hurry' to get all of the old pictures scrapped while those still alive to tell the story still can. I only spent 2 weeks a year at my dad's family's farm in Minnesota, but the smells of Gramma baking bread and canning pickles are still etched in my mind. I feel that using softer hues of colors and doing some shabby-chic work helps bring those beloved smells more easily to mind, just as the memories are somewhat softened (fuzzy) with age, and a bit shabby at the edges. I have never seen this company, and it looks like something I could really get into!
