Hello and Happy Sunday! We are celebrating Christmas in July over on the Sisters in Stamping blog today and sharing Christmas card ideas. It is never too early to get started on your Christmas cards, is it? I decided to feature the Christmas Scottie bundle that I recently purchased from the Holiday catalog. The stamp set and coordinating punch are so darn cute! In addition to the Christmas Scottie bundle, I also used the Layering Circles dies and the Artistic Mix decorative masks that are in the Annual catalog. If you would like to purchase any of these products, be sure to hop over to my online Stampin' Up! store to place an order (don't forget to use Host Code... Continue reading

Hello and Happy Sunday! Today's theme over on the Sisters in Stamping blog is birthday cards. I just recently received my Holiday catalog and SAB order and wanted to use the new Wonderful World DSP and stamp bundle that is a Sale-a-Bration selection right now that you can earn for free with a qualifying $100 merchandise order. The papers are so beautiful and the flower images are a perfect match. In addition to the Wonderful World bundle, I also used a new stamp set called Go To Greetings which is in the new Annual catalog. I love the different fonts and sizes of these often-needed sentiments! Click on either of the photos to hop over to my online Stampin' Up!... Continue reading

Hello and Happy Sunday! Today's theme over on the Sisters in Stamping blog is masculine cards. Oddly enough, I chose the theme several months ago and then struggled to make a card because most of my masculine sets retired. Thankfully, I had ordered this fun Wild & Sweet stamp set from the new Annual catalog and it worked great with the new Artistic Mix decorative masks, which I colored with the Blending Brush. To add more dimension to the stamped image, I used a few Watercolor Pencils. Click on any of the photos to hop over to my online Stampin' Up! store to place an order (don't forget to use Host Code KDZFB6MW with your online order at checkout through... Continue reading

Hello and Happy Sunday! Today's theme over on the Sisters in Stamping blog is fun fold cards. I saw a great card called a "W" fold on Sharon Armstrong's blog (see it pinned here) and decided to try one. So fun and easy! I used the new Happiness Abounds stamp set and coordinating Hues of Happiness DSP from the Annual catalog for today's card along with some stampin' blends for coloring. These colors just scream summer to me (although kind of tricky to photograph)! Click on either photo to hop over to my online Stampin' Up! store to place an order. Here is a closer look at the front of the card. I used a large piece of the DSP... Continue reading

Hello and Happy Sunday! Today's theme over on the Sisters in Stamping blog is to CASE a card from the Annual Catalog or January-June Spring catalog. I chose a card from the Annual catalog that features a fun new punch. Read on to find out more... Here is the card I am CASE'ing from the Annual Catalog - it can be found on page 53. Mine is pretty close, but I did change up a couple of things. I really like how it turned out, just like I pictured it in my head. That doesn't always happen! I used the new Decorative Circle punch from the Annual catalog that I absolutely love! In addition, I used two soon-to-be-retired products from... Continue reading

Hello, I wanted to explain why I haven't posted in the last month. Sadly, we lost my Mom back on May 12th. She valiantly fought cancer for 8 years and I miss her terribly. Many of you who are local to the Lynchburg area and have been stamping with me over the last 18 years have had a chance to meet her. She loved making and sending cards to her many friends and family members and I am so grateful that Stampin' Up! brought her so much joy. We also shared a love of sushi and the beach. I am forever grateful that we took one last family trip in 2021 together. I also want to thank everyone who sent... Continue reading

Here is another view of today's card. If you haven't received the new catalog, be sure to check it out online beginning Tuesday,... Continue reading

Hello and Happy Sunday! For this week's Sunday Fun Day theme over on the Sisters in Stamping blog we are sharing shaped cards. I must admit, this was a struggle for me, but once I embraced it I had a lot of fun creating this Panda card! My inspiration came from Jennifer McGuire, whose cards I found on Pinterest (see that here). I knew I could create something similar with my Stampin' Up! products so challenged myself to come up with a card template for the panda's body and pulled in some punches to help me with the rest. Can you guess which ones I used? Did you guess correctly? I used the Double Oval and Strawberry Builder punches -... Continue reading

For this week's Sunday Fun Day theme over on the Sisters in Stamping blog we are sharing projects featuring the specialty papers from the Spring catalog. I shared a card set featuring these last month (see that blog post here) and really liked how they worked together. Please click on the photo above to hop over to my Stampin' Up! store to place... Hello and Happy Sunday! For this week's Sunday Fun Day theme over on the Sisters in Stamping blog we are sharing fun/fancy fold projects and I decided to make faux stair step card featuring the Hello Ladybug bundle from the Spring January-June mini catalog. I had seen one on Pinterest shared on Glenda Calkin's thestampcamp blog (see that pin here) and CASE'd it for my project today. Check out her video tutorial to see how it's made. If this project looks familiar, it is because I had some of this sheet of card stock shown above that was left over from last week's project (see that gift card holder here) and decided to use it for this week's project. Colors... Continue reading
