Happy Thanksgiving to you all, or at least to our American readers. Tonya here with you today to share a layout made with our newest line called Daily Grind. It's such a fun collection with all of the latest trends that are really hot right now, for example arrows, chevrons, and cameras. I've been dying to use the arrow chevron side of the Busy Busy paper, so I made that the base of this layout. The camera is a die cut from the package of SN@P! cuts. I slightly inked the edges of it to make it stand out against... Continue reading

the brand new SN@P! sets! These new sets are so versatile, they really aren't just for use with Life Documented! Tonya here today to share with you just how well these sets work for other projects. I have yet to hop on the Life Documented band wagon, so I wanted to share a layout and a card with you. Both of these projects came together really quickly using the Baby Girl set. Note another way that this set is daughter isn't a baby anymore and so many of the images/cards work really well for feminine projects. I used the... Continue reading

Happy hump day to you all, Tonya here with a layout and a card to share with you. I have so many great photos from this summer that I am just dying to scrapbook. I reached into my Simple Stories stash and pulled out one of my favorite collections...Vintage Bliss, then found a photo and went to work (Ha! If that is what you call it!). I started by creating the base of my page in my Silhouette software. I knew that I was wanting to place strips of patterned paper behind a large cut out shape. I opted to... Continue reading

Happy Tuesday Simple Stories fans! Tonya here today to share with you a couple of projects featuring the new Smarty Pants line. It's the perfect line to use for all of those back to school photos. Unfortunately my kids don't start school until next week and since I already used last years photos on a previous layout, that meant I didn't have any school photos to use for this project. So, I challenged myself to make a non-school themed layout using Smarty Pants. Take a look below and see just how versatile this line can be. I found some photos... Continue reading

Hi everyone! Tonya here today to share with you a new layout made using I {Heart} Summer. I have to say that this collection remains my favorite of Simple Stories. The colors and designs are just perfect for my style! We had a summer birthay party last week and I snapped these photos of my daughter and hubby. For the clustering in the center I started with one of the Sn@p! cuts as the background and then used flair icons, layered stickers, chipboard stickers, fundamental cardstock stickers and decorative brads. Products: Chalkboard/White Boardwalk Paper #3216 Yellow Boardwalk/Newsprint Paper #3219 Smooth... Continue reading

So, that means it is almost 11pm your time now, almost 2pm for me! Hopefully your sweet little eyes are closed and you are peacefully dreaming of this new life you have embarked upon. I am so jealous (in a good way, not the little green monster with horns kind of way), I love the updates and getting to experience this through your eyes!

Happy Friday Simple Stories' fans. Tonya here to show you my Life Documented pages from a girls' trip that I took last week. My girlfriends and I went for a quick no husbands, no kiddos trip to Vegas and Urban Traveler was the perfect collection to use for the occasion. I used my Silhouette to cut out the state of Nevada and the little star that represents Las Vegas. To embellish it I used a skyline sticker from the Fundamental Cardstock Stickers. I glittered the star, popped it up with some foam tape and then a yellow Maya Road star... Continue reading

Happy Friday everyone! Tonya here with you today. I have a couple of projects to share with you using my all time favorite collection from Simple Stories...I {HEART} SUMMER. Such fun colors, images and papers!!! There is still about a month left of school for my kids, but it was fun to reminisce over last summer's photos for this layout. Cut the sun out with my Cameo and then embellished it with one of the decorative brads. How about the colored woodgrain papers? They really add some great visual details. I also made a card. I just adore all of... Continue reading

Happy Friday everyone! I thought that I would share with you all some cards that show just how versatile Simple Stories can be. This first card was made using 24/Seven, I am head over heels in love with the new brads!!!!! The "ribbon strip" was made using some washi tape. These next two cards used the Sn@p line. I wanted to focus on the new stamps. On this first card I die cut a heart out of a piece of cardstock and used the negative shape as a mask. Then I used the speech bubbles from the Daily stamp set... Hi Simple Stories fans, Tonya here today to share a couple of new projects with you. I have two projects, a layout and a card. Both were made using the new 24/Seven line. Aren't you all just in love with the new embellishments that Simple Stories came out with this last CHA? I was super excited for the brads and the chipboard. Simple Stories just gets better and better! First up is my layout. I went with the 24/Seven theme and used that for my title work as well. Used my Cameo to cut out the title and the arrows.... Happy Tuesday! Tonya here to share a layout with you that uses the Take a Hike collection. My husband is a big hunting/fishing nut. I was so excited when his fishing buddy emailed these photos of him ('cuz let's face it, men just don't think to take photos of themselves!!!!), and what better collection to use with this pictures?!!! My original plan was for that striped title piece to go vertical down the left hand side of the layout. However, once I had all of the machine stitching done and tried to place my photos I decided that I wanted... Continue reading

A weekend away at a luxurious resort that specializes in tennis, somewhere warm and tropical...and a new left knee so that I won't come limping home with a swollen knee from too much tennis! Not too much to ask for right?! ;)
I just really want to say how much I appreciate how "spot on" PTI is with all of the trends....makes my shopping and creating experiences that much more fun!
OOOhhhhh....the Quick Stitch Dies are so cool....a new favorite for sure!!!
