Interests: Welcome to Texas Interventionist a professional intervention blog designed to help people learn about addiction interventions. My name is Scott Kelley, LCDC and I have been helping families and people with substance use disorders with family interventions since 1998. I have extensive experience in personal recovery, addiction interventions, and substance use disorder treatment, and worked with top addiction treatment programs throughout my career. My passion is helping families with getting their loved ones to enter treatment. I believe that addiction is a treatable chronic illness that when a person is guided into a medical detox & substance use disorder treatment program they can recover from their addiction & addiction-related problems. For the last 25 years, I have been helping families with the intervention process.
