This document contains what I deem to be the 25 most vital verbs that will see you through most topics in German, even at GCSE. Page 1 is a handout and we will fill in the ENGLISH. I have had a listen to your remarkable recordings from last lesson and team points stand as follows: Team A - 38 + 39 = 77 Plus extra points awarded for voice recordings (accuracy and content) + 1 = 78 Team B - 44 + 83 = 127!!! Plus extra points awarded for voice recordings (accuracy and content) + 14 + 10 bonus points = 151!!! Year 9 will spend this week looking at the German names for shops and what sorts of products they would expect to buy in different shops. We will introduce this new unit of work using the WORDLE above as a prompt. Pupils will act as "detectives" and using hi lighter pens to colour code their WORDLE according to gender, nouns, verbs etc. To complete the lesson, Frau Bewell will offer them each £1000 and ask them to go away with their newly found dictionary skills and make a shopping list of all the things they would like to purchase along...
