Wishing you all a Happy Valentines Day. Today is a time for sharing and having fun with loved ones. I spent the day doing just that and even had time to make this gorgeous cake for us to eat at dinner time. It is my own version of the classic Red Velvet Cake with vanilla frosting and blueberries! Ohh la, la the taste is delightful ... and to finish off with a cup of "Me Time" blended tea infusion with strawberry and elderberry. You can buy it here for only £5.50. Continue reading

It's a new year and new opportunities are waiting for us. This is the time of the year when we are either full of beans or feeling exhausted and deflated from the end of the year. Well, we are already into the 2nd week in January and before you know it, it will be December 2010! Don't wait for the year to pass us by without even noticing it. We need to shake off 2009 and start afresh. Look back with the knowledge that there was some learning that took place and any mistakes are all learning experiences. 2010 has... Continue reading

BBC RADIO 4 - FOOD PROGRAMME Tea drinking has become a really popular and sociable thing to do. Last week BBC Radio 4 on the Food Programme interviewed experts in the field! The programme is informative and really highlights how enjoyable it is to discover great loose leaf tea in the same way that you would seek out a great wine.It is really surprising to know the age group that have switched onto... Xmas cheer was brought to me in the form of the Hummingbird Bakery Book. I was overjoyed at receiving this book as I had been wishing that Santa would place it under my tree! I have always wanted to make Red Velvet Cupcakes but could not find a receipe that was authentic and easy to make, until now. So here it is, my version of the famous "Red Velvet Cupcake". Believe me it tastes as good as it looks. The book also has many other great american cakes, pies and cheesecakes that you can make e.g. Pumpkin Pie! - yummy! Continue reading

Create your own wealth – Trading online with Tamazin Morley The November Stilettos networking event was definitely a good one to end the year on. We were all having such a good time that we nearly forgot the time and as the Casino is 24 hours they were in no rush for us to leave. The food and wine was great and was flowing all night. Tamazin Morley our guest speaker was amazing and showed us all techniques on how to trade Gold online and any other commodities that we may be interested in. It was such a great talk,... Drinking tea and loving the experience of the places, people and conversations you have with the ritual of tea drinking was not enough for me. I had to have my own blend of tea, because those quirky flavours that I wanted to taste were not in the shops for me to buy so why not create my own blends? So here it is, “My Tea Boutique” to share with the world. I will be sharing with you all things tea.Come and have some fun and join me in conversations about tea or anything else that you choose! Put the kettle... Continue reading
