Weighing and measuring has some benefits for those that want to take the time to do this. I've decided to Not weight and measure, after years of doing so, mostly because there was a natural point of diminishing returns for me. If your goal is to lose weight or you have trouble with portion control, then I would suggest weighing and measuring. If you have good self discipline, and know the difference between your mouth and a vacuum cleaner, then maybe it is a great time expense that you can do with out. I started back this week after a week off, mostly due to a wrist injury that I sustained doing Cleans. Its been really hard to do any snatches, or similar grip exercises. Cleans don't seem to be a problem though.Today I decided that it would be a good day to get out the prowler. If you don't know what this is it is a heavy duty torture device that must have been created by a sadistic S.O.B. who loves to watch people suffer. This is the first post on this blog.....finally!! Hope you check it out. I'm going to be logging my progress to get 140kg overhead. So far it has been an interesting journey, a few injuries( hand and wrists) nothing major, lots of frustrations, and a lot of strength Pr's. Actually my real goal is to clean and jerk 140kg's. So fat I have cleaned 120kg's, Front Squatted 140 kg's, and Jerked( from the front) 125kg's. If I stay injury free I'm confident that I'll be able to accomplish this goal.
