We are always spotting amazing exhibition posters as we journey home from Topshop HQ on the Tube, and the latest offering from the Victoria & Albert museum is no exception. This brilliant image fascinated us – we had to find out more about British Design 1948-2012, which has just opened at the V&A. Unique SS12 has just landed and the whole of Topshop HQ is seriously excited! Who wouldn't be madly in love with a collection inspired by Elizabeth Taylor in the iconic 1963 adaptation of Cleopatra and 90s hip-hop? At the Topshop showspace, even our catwalk was given an Egyptian makeover for SS12. As we we’re lamenting about how miserable the cold is making us right now, we came across these miniature gardens by The Pothole Gardener and couldn’t help but smile. Planted in potholes and weed-filled patches in and around East London, these guerilla-style gardens by Steve Wheen really have brightened up our day! We love the idea of adding a bit of green to the city’s sidewalks and adore how they’re filled with everything from telephone boxes to mini tennis courts! We hope we come across one on our travels some day soon - they really are holes of little happiness. Continue reading
