I'm especially thrilled that Bar'wani won against a veteran ruling party incumbent, according to this AFP report. Across Africa, it's never easy for the opposition to win against the ruling party. But the the election of one Albino MP in Tanzania is enough to protect the human rights and dignity of Africa's Albinos. In recent years, dozens of albinos have been killed and dismembered in a number of African countries due to a widespread belief that charms made from their body parts bring good fortune and prosperity. And the pop star is having none of it.The Sunday Times reports that Madonna has denied the man, 26-year-old Malawian James Kambewa, access to the child. Bravo, Madge! The man is, at best, a fly-by-night sperm donor. Madonna adopted Mercy from an orphanage.This fact alone speaks volumes about Kambewa's sense of parental and paternal responsibility. How then are we to understand the rise of Neo-Nazism in Mongolia, the Mongolian Far Right's rejection of racial diversity in the name of preserving racial purity? Why is it so hard for these hoodlums to grasp the simple fact that Hitler would have killed them all. They are not and will never be, white. The star was a street urchin, but dark as an ancient Persian. Hollywood is still stuck in the past. In the beginning of the last century, white actors routinely used face paint to play black characters. Now, no more face paint. When the character is a bad guy, he is played by a dark-skinned actor. By OBERT MADONDO: Apparently, someone in the Miami, Florida area decided to use their hacking skills to hack a road sign to spread racist propaganda. Instead of the usual road safety messages, the road sign on the Palmetto Expressway flashed the message "No Latinos, No Tacos" early into the morning yesterday. The Florida Highway Patrol moved in swiftly and sign. What bothers me is the way the media has approached this sick hack. Most websites and blogs simply reported that the Miami construction sign had been hacked to read "No Latinos", "No Tacos". Of course there are variations of the cowardly line. A blogger quoted in this Huffington Post report even suggests that the message was pro-immigration. Apparently, the hacker is attempting to support immigration by saying "without Latinos there will be no more tacos." Give me a break! Only Black Voices had the balls to call the hack what...
