Perfect timing on your post. I'm on a committee at work that is tying core competencies to the entire employee life cycle. Your post and interview were so good I forwarded it to my entire team and we used it as a discussion point in our meeting today. Thanks for always proving valuable content Kris.

I could use some Banana Frog flourishes in my life! Thanks, Trish
Kat, I know you won't forget what your mom did to you, but I'm so happy that you clearly did not let it affect the way you mother your son. I can tell that you are completely and totally in love with him, as you should be. And, even though I was married when I had my twins, marriage does not = motherhood. Since my twins almost came to early to survive, I did not have a baby shower. And you know what I learned? I don't need showers and registrys. I only needed those 2 healthy (tiny) premie babies looking in my eyes to know that I had the biggest blessing ever. Happy Mother's Day to you!!

@Gwen: Are you sure you're really from St. Louis? I think you may have been spending too much time in KC and DC. ha ha @Grace: I probably need to send you some frozen White Castles so you can have the expereience at least once. It's definitely an acquired taste. @Kerry: I love Baskin Robbins ice cream more than just about anything. I worked there when I was 16. It was a great first job. I think I gained almost 15 pounds in just one year there.

I love your blog. You better not take it down. I have tried to comment before but sometimes it does not let me. Wonder if anyone else has had that problem. That may be why you're not getting as many comments as you'd expect. Glad it is working today. Oh, and cute giveaway!!

Donna- Please! I need this more than chocolate, more than a warm summer day, more than a day at the spa, more than sweet iced tea...well, maybe not more than my favorite iced tea, but pretty close. :-)

Hi Grace. Thanks for the comment! I think it's the combination of knowing the activities the twins are getting involved in now have equipment (like Jack's football). Up until now, we have had them in gymnastics and ice skating lessons, so no equipment involved except ice skates. We also need to be able to carpool with other parents in our subdivision and our Jeep Liberty only holds four people (because of the two car seats). I completely relate to having to squeeze in with a mother-in-law. No matter who we bring along, I'm pretty tiny and I always get stuck squeezing between two car seats. not fun. We noticed the Chrysler Town & Country 2009 version is a little more truck-like looks wise. It's boxier now so that would be a possibility. It had the dual dvd/tv so that hubby and I could listen to sattelite radio in the front, one kid could be watching tv on the 2nd row screen and the other kid could be watching a dvd in the back. Pretty cool!

I hope you pick me! This kit is just perfect for pictures of my daughter last week at Epcot! She was dressed as Princess Jasmine and attended the princess dinner. These papers match her Jasmine costume perfectly. I hope I win.

Hi Donna, You can buy your Dove silk on eBay. There is a seller from Australia that sells it. Of course, buying it while in Europe is much better! :-)
