Long time no see
Hello friends. It has been a while. Sorry about that. Aine and I have been crazy busy and this is what our life have been like since December: Personal: I lost 35 pounds and still on my weight-loss journey - I am basically a Paleo person now! It is tough but it is so well worth it and I am so happy I made this decision. It is so much fun finding recipes that I can eat. Remember friends, carbs and sugar are bad! Awesomeness: Please take a moment to Bring Home Finley. Everyone knows Martha right? Well she and... Continue reading

Aine jealous of coywolves
* Forgot to mention! I did the following because www.dropcam.com has a challenge for favorite per story! Check them out!* Capturing Aine while we watched Nature's CoyWolf special. Wondering what wild or ferrel pugs would look like? I am thinking there is no such thing because Pugs couldn't survive without their humans. IE Servants. http://youtu.be/I9d71-bxSxI (forgive the mess) xoxo Nan and Aine - Posted using BlogPress from my iPad Continue reading

Aine the pug
* Forgot to mention! I did the following because www.dropcam.com has a challenge for favorite per story! Check them out!* My little girl - Aine - cracks me up on a continued basis. I really wish I had a webcam so that I can see what she does during the day when I am not home. People purposely walk VERY slowly by my house to see her little head pop up from the window and jump up and down. It is hysterical. She has free reign of the house during the day and I would love to get a brother... Continue reading

Happy Holidays!
*waves*. Sorry I have been such a bad blogger. I have been busy with work and studying so not much fun going on. I started my New Years in the ER with the nerovirus- extremely bad stomach flu that i don't wish on anyone. I have had to be forced to take care of myself which is really hard todo- especially when you are in pain. The whole thing was scary so it has kinda woke me up a little. In regards to my new years resolutions from 2013 I only lost 10 pounds and I am still retaking the.... Continue reading

Royal Baby Watch- what should I make?
Yes. I know. I have been a very bad blogger. To say I have been crazy busy is an understatement. Besides being busy at work and getting ready for Pugfest. This is what we have been doing: We took care of Pixie. She is coming back in August. Yea! I am now in the Guinness Book Of Records and was quoted by the Daily Herald. I can finally apply to Google. I went to the Quilt Show in Chicago. And bought this to make: I went to the Midwest Fiber Fair with my fellow felter Judy and was greeted with... Continue reading

#thisissuper #manofsteel
I have crossed something off the preverbal bucket list. I am technically- via proxy of my company #sears - in the Guinness Book of World Records for being one of 565 people dressed as superman in one place! Yahooo! Sears partnered with #ManofSteel movie and you will see our #craftsman and #kenmore brands in the movie as well as a very pivotal scene that takes place in our store. The media was everywhere at the headquarters so it was quite fun. In fact- I am on the news and in the paper. I think I am still pinching myself. Read... Continue reading

Well hello there
Yes i have been quite delinquent in my blogging. That said, this is what I have been up to. Getting ready for Milwaukee Pug Fest on May 19 where Martha and I will be sharing a table. I am behind. With my pug pillows. Eventually, they will look like this: However, he is a little bit nakers so I think I need to dress him. Besides that I have been trying to fit in exercise where I can- which is hard! But I think I figured it out...I go for videos. My breezer just got a spring clean And a... Continue reading

Hydrangeas
I love hydrangeas. So much so, I bought a Hydrangea cake. Of course, the beauty is in the flowers. (Aka the cake was not that good) 'Silly Mummy. I could have told you that!' Says Aine Xoxo Nan and Aine. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone Continue reading

Sugar is the devil, Protein works
So St Pats was a very tough week. I made St Pats day mini cupcakes and those 2pts went quickly into 22pts. I mean look at these nummy cupcakes?! Sugar is the devil I have discovered. Hence 2 pt quickly went to 22 pts. Also we had an amazing corned beef at work that was so good it was worth going off my diet. Seriously the best. corned.beef.ever. They cooked it in Killians beer. First 'beer' that I had on WW diet. But it was awesome! But I had to get back on that WW wagon and a lot of... Continue reading

Happy St Patty's Day! Aine blog.
Aine here. It was so nice out- we went out for walkies! Mummy wanted me to wear my Irish sweater but she couldn't find it so it was wrinkled shamrock dress in stead. See how pretty it is? Yes it is a little tight. But i still look pretty Right? Thank you, I knew you would agree. Okay off for walkies! We checked out trees YouTube Video And we surveyed our domain I was so tired i went for nappies on Mummy so i can keep her warm while she is studying. Happy St Patrick's day every puggy! Xoxo Aine... Dieting. It is tough
Still trying to get into the zone of measuring, weighing, shopping two times a week - and we have not even got to the exercising yet! I am so lucky to have the support of my family, friends and my WW group. Also the following websites have been my mainstays: Emily Bites Skinny Taste Laaloosh Skinny Kitchen Hungary-Girl My favorite dish that is not here but is my go to lunch is my mango chutney chicken salad. It is so easy to make and so nummy. Here is the recipe: Boiled chicken tenders (chopped fine) Red apple (chopped) Green onion(minced)... Continue reading

Richard III - DNA confirmed
Finally solved- they found Richard III and confirmed it today! Now that you see his complete skeleton, that is one bad curvature. He must have been in a lot of pain. It is interesting reading the archeologist's account of what he would have looked like. He would have been five foot eight- which is considered tall during the middle ages if he didn't have scoliosis. The curved spine made him a lot smaller than he really was. Ironically Princess Eugene had scoliosis so bad she had surgery where they inserted rods and she came out of the surgery about six... Continue reading
