I think a misconception for most people is the fairy tale storbook idea. Marriage is real sometimes Prince Charming does ride in but most of the time it feels like we are cleaning up his horses left behinds (if you know what I mean). We grow up with this dreamy idea of the wonderful side of marriage but in reality it is more like a roller coaster you will have highs and lows. Somedays you just won't feel happily married but it is how we deal with these times that makes a marriage last. One of the most important things to remember is that you can not be selfish in a marriage or it will never work. It is a partnership that you will have to work at daily. If your not happy you have to fix it within yourself, you can not depend on your partner to fix it for you. But through hard work when your on the top of the hill it's amazing.

I'm totally in this is just what I needed. I need to lose about 80 pounds to be at a good healthy weight for my height and body type. My husband is so wonderful we have been married for 14 years and he has never said a word about my weight it has just steadily over the years creeped up. And like you I know that my families genetics does not help me one bit. About a month ago he came to me and said he wanted to make a pack with me. He would quit smoking if I would lose weight. He has been a smoker for over 20 years and of course this was a blessing. At the time of the pact it hurt me. Because when you are overweight you know it, but it was like a reality slap in the face. I have been struggling with severe confidence and emotional issues every since. I want to do this and I need the support of others going through with it also. I'm in and look forward to all of the help I can get. P.S. my husband has been completely smoke free since June 13th I'm so proud of him.

I love these questions: 1. One of my sister's had a Creative Memories party at her house in 1999 and she invited me to go. I was hooked from the moment I arrived. What was even more wonderful to me was the fact that it sparked a passion that myself and my sisters share. Before we were just sisters, but now we are scrapbooking buddies. We plan trips and scrapbooking dates together and just hav ea ball. It has been a ties that has brought us closer than we would have ever been. 2. When I scrapbook there is nothing like it. It is a creative release that I need. There is nothing more rewarding that finishing a project stepping back and saying "I created that", "my hands made that". Also that fact that my children will have a lasting storybook of their lives to pass down to their children. 3. We do this all the time we sucker unsuspecting victims to our crazy crops (of course offering free food and fun) and them we hit them with a bunch of laughs crazy stories and ease into the fun stuff. All kidding aside it doesn't take a whole lot to get someone involved once you speak passionatly about your work (and let's face it I don't know any scrapbooker's that are no passionate people), the concept of preserving you life's memories is pretty inspiring.

I know that may sound crazy but, do you happen to have the contact information of the Epson girl Angela. I live in the OKC area and I met her at CKU-KC last year I have printer questions. I was fortunate enough to get to take your class when you were in OKC and have kept up with your travels via your blog ever since. Thanks for all of the great work.
