Anne, a shamanic teacher and friend booked a thirty minute session with me to discuss her new blog. Anne's moving in a different direction. How exciting. "I'm shutting down my healing practice, letting go of my old website and starting a new blog."Whoa Nelly, OMG no don't do that! I... Continue reading

Yes, get a dog! Cookie would want you to! I love both dogs in the pics...our daughter rescued a sweet Golden two years ago. She was 60 pounds overweight due to neglect-they locked her in a room, no exercise and just kept filling her food bowl. She weighed 130 pounds and looked like the Titanic. Now she's a slim trim 70 pounds who runs and plays.

Standing here wanting my attention is the young girl who felt shame for having money. They nicknamed her "Rich Mitch" because her family suddenly 'had money' that afforded her the opportunity to take painting classes on Tuesday nights. Money made her different from her friends. She is 12 years old.... Continue reading

Are you a lurker? A looky-loo? Do you read a blog and never comment? Your challenge? This week comment on five blogs that you read, that's right five. Say something nice, comment on the author's ability to hold your attention, why did you stop by. If you are a fan... Continue reading

I love your blog and your presence. I know this heart pain, the violation of our home...it's soul loss from such a deep place. Fifteen years later I am there again as I read your words today. Take time for you, and also take time to renew the house...I swept my whole house with a simple broom when we were robbed...I opened all the windows to let the wind wash through, used some sage to invite the good back in to dwell so I could heal. Sending my heartfelt prayers your way.

Thanks Amy, I've heard about Jung's Red Book for several years from various shamanic teachers in the Foundation for Shamanic Studies. Good to have an astrologer's insights, eager to read part 2.
Great job on the redesign...loved reading your journey through it.
