Sitting might be - in his abrasive way - trying to correct your thinking in that should "their amendment" pass muster with the voters, it would NOT be subject to judicial review as you suggest. A Constitutional Amendment is up for adoption, not a law.

Proponents of A1 claim they are forwarding the Amendment in an attempt to keep the gay marriage matter out of the hands of "activist judges".
But, yet, they seem to welcome - promote, even - judicial "activism" when they assure us that, "The courts will ultimately make those decisions".
So... they trust and don't trust our court system simultaneously.

The City has become one of your largest customers and they might not take kindly to you firing your blog back up, which historically, "bites the hand" that helps feed you and your progeny.
Hope they aren't that small, but, as I said... just be careful.
