It is very intriguing. A must try. Bois d'Armenie is one of all-time favorites in winter. Tonka Imperiale is very rich, so I put it behind the knees and at the ankles. It rises beautifully. Kaori
I barely remember buying K de Krizia in Japan and Scala at a duty-free shop somewhere. At that time the line was easy to spot. After early 90's I had a "dark age" for finding favorite perfumes for a while. Based on the statistics you posted, the market trend, I somewhat understand the reason. Kaori

I had K de Krizia and Teatro alla Scala and liked them very much. I loved sweet tabacco and the bottle of Teatro alla Scala very much. They were bold! Kaori

I hear that some colors in the States are not available here, according to the SA. I checked 34, 35(this is the one I have). The texture is very smooth and feels like "ground glass". This is matte, might be dry side but I think it is acceptable with a little lip balm. Try them! Kaori
This review is very helpful. I have been on the fence for a while. That pretty bottle ! Rouge Allure Velvet have beautiful colors, bright red and pink, I have just bought pink one, L'elegante. Kaori
It is the dawn of e-book here, finally the digital contents industry is ready and Kindle will come onto the market.
I have read N'esperez pas vous debarrasser des livres by Umberto Eco & Jean-Claude Carriere(play writer). This book is currently available in French and Japanese, (soon English??). I believe many book lovers would enjoy it very much. Kaori
What a disappointment! Mushy macarons are sad...:( You have another reason to visit Paris! Kaori
An Excellent list! I really love to visit there.. well, I hear Laduree has opened a shop in NYC, that is a good news for you :) Kaori
Sorry , was related, not it is related. Darn, I was interrupted. :( Kaori
A good surprise. I like semi-precious amber very much, specially the color, and my "k-amber" comes from it. I was not sure it is related to amber in perfumery so closely, though I like comforting amber fragrance. Kaori
I had a chance to sniff new No.19, which gave me a disappointment a bit. It is pleasant but seems to be headed for the wrong direction as a my favorite iris fragrance, loosing a good accent. Without the name of No. 19, I would accept it happily. Kaori
Very tempting. It sounds a great fall fragrance. After a terrible heatwave, I need something soothing :) Kaori
Very beautiful article ! I couldn't agree with you more. My parents have visited Malta and brought me "Honey Ring". This Maltese specialty tastes "far away and an exotic place" :) Have a great trip! Kaori

After reading this book , I like to read E. Roudnitska "L'esthetique en question" which seems to go out of print. Have you read that? I realized numerous wonderful fragrances, my favorites, were created in the 80s. (sigh) Kaori
Your mother's current favorites are gorgeous! Your mother and my mother have very , very similar tastes. (see?) Besides that, a few classic Guerlain should be added. My mother uses L'Artisan Nuit de Tubereuse which is my gift to her , when the weather is getting warmer. I like, and wish, to recommend Tubereuse Criminell and Sarrasins to her :) Kaori
Harumi Kurihara's books are very popular among people of all ages. Her recipes are usually healthy, less salt and oil, with a bit of vinegar or fresh herbs. I have a few books of her. Enjoy! Kaori
The ceremony was broadcast live from pm5:30 to pm10:00 on the public broadcasting and it was a national holiday! I enjoyed everything including big hats everywhere :) Thank you for info on her fragrance. I will tell it to my friends :) We are in the middle of long holiday, so called The Golden Week, now. Kaori
I like the creaminess of Beyond Love very much. I have just got a sample of Back to Black and love it. As far as I know, not trying everything, the line seems to be well-balanced classic and modern mixed. A Taste of Heaven reminds me one of my favorite summer drinks "Pernod with club soda" , I don't drink much though :) Kaori
Dear Victoria, A wonderful thing! I am thinking about finding a nice orange blossom fragrance this summer. I like FT and FT Mag. as well. Kaori
My favorites (seasonal): L'Artisan Traversee du Besphore By Kilian A Taste of Heaven (green!) Guerlain Tonka Imperiale (a bit sweet for my taste..) Chanel 31 Rue Cambon CD Mitzah I guess I need something greener for this season... Kaori

I find "fresh green moss" in it , which is very refreshing and attractive. It might sound a bit strange that this reminds me a old temple with moss garden. Spring comes! Kaori
A few Hermessence have given me good impressions, Among them, Vanille Galante is a mystery for me, as I am not particularly fan of each note but the total turns to be totally unexpected. Fragrance is fascinating, isn't it? I am wearing Vetiver Tonka today. Kaori
I have strongly drawn to Chanel Rouge Coco, 31 Rue Cambon and Sycomore and both colors suit me luckily :) Staring at some colors now.... A lovely post! Kaori
Thank you for your thoughtful message. There is not much one can say at a time like this, but we are not alone, are connected. Kaori
