Anne, thank you for your comment. I have to tell you it made me laugh just a bit, out of embarrassment I suppose as some of the things I shared probably should have been kept hidden for eternity! I suppose I used my blog for a bit of therapy at times and readers like you were always very kind, and offered words of encouragement and love. Thanks again, love to you and your family.

Hi Carol! Im not over your sister moving away! First she moves from the neighborhood and then the state, and I comment whenever I see her posts that its time she moved back. Futile I know but losing another great family to Utah was hard! Thanks for reading, for your sweet comment and please talk Marie into coming back for at least a visit and you come, too! Love to you and your family, Nan.

Hi Theresa, I want to thank you for taking the time to comment; reading the comments has given me a much needed boost. The poor mister, he did take a beating over the years, but all much deserved I assure you😉 If only I could have whipped him into shape, its all about training them when theyre young and I just never knew that. That might be the only thing mom failed to teach me! Thanks again, Love to your and your family, Nan

Hi Jane, Im sorry to read about your loss, Im now very aware of all of the walking wounded there are. People like you who lost your mom or loved ones, who have figured out a way to move on with life and appear normal. I find myself thinking about my friends who have lost their moms and wondering how they did it. We were so very lucky to have the remarkable supporters we did, and you are so right, we need to pass that support on to others. I guess thats the way to move forward and be normal? Thank you so very much for your sweet comment, sending love to you and your family, Nan.

Debi, my heart goes out to you, Im so sorry for your loss! For a year we have watched the news and heard about the Covid deaths, those dying in hospitals with no family around, all of the gruesome details and never once did I think it would take my mom. Its been very hard, harder than I thought, as Im sure you know. Ill pray for you, that youll receive as much love and support as I have, your comment means a lot and I thank you for that and for reading along. Love to you and your family, Nan

Li, thank yousweet friend. I talked about you to my mom over the years, she always asked about my friends. I remember telling her about your many kindnesses to us and just a few weeks ago I showed her the pictures from the candy cane hunt with little Roy, she commented that he was just adorable. Thank you for your nice comment, love to you and your family. Nan

Thank you my dear, dear friend. Mom loved that we have stayed in touch all these years. Mom had several life-long friends and often told me how important they were to her, its nice to talk to someone who knows where the bodies are buried and who and help find locations for the next ones! Love you, Nan

Hi Dorothy, thanks for your kind words. I cant imagine how you must feel not having had a mom, I can only think of how strong you must be to have gone through life without her. Life is hard even during the best of time, just so hard! Love to you, Nan.

Hi Liz, thank you so very much. Maybe one day when the fog lifts I will post occasionally, but not for the foreseeable future. I wrote each post with mom in mind and, and before I hit publish I often had to go back and remove some things because I know I would get a phone call if I didnt 🙂 Mom was my conscience, without her to censoring me no telling what I would say! Thanks for following along and for your nice comment, love, Nan.

Thank youKathie, they are a gift! Its already been a week of highs and lows remembering things my mom said and did. I wanted to call her this morning and tell her about all the nice comments, like yours, that my blog friends have sent, she would have been so happy. Thank you so very much. Nan

ThanksSusan, You are one of the super-humans Ive thought about this past week, having gone through this with so many of your loved ones. The amount of strength it takes to move forward seems out of reach for me right now but thinking about my friends who have been through this is a huge help for me. Love you, we need to get together for mask-less-mock-tails when the craziness ends.

Thanks so very much for your kind words, once again. I always knew there was an entire world of walking wounded out there, somehow going about their daily lives without their loved ones, but now I have greater empathy for them, its so very hard! Love to you and your family. Nan
