Those look like what I call Pastels... I used to work with them. Long ago. My husband is always wanting me to try again. Now my Granddaughters work, with Pastels. You are so lucky to be looking forward to flying down to Italy, for Easter. -happy sigh- I wish I was, too. But you will be taking me along, via your blog and your photos! :-) Thank you.

I can see why you still love King Winter being around! Sun, and lovely conditions for a hike. Wonderful photos. Wondering if going on a virtual hike with you, will count for my exercise today???? -gigggles-

Thank you for what sounds like a wonderful book suggestion. Thank you so much. There is something about _your_ words, too. And also, about your photographs. You are an artist, with both... Mari-Nanci http://smilnsigh.blogspot.com/

What a wonderful idea! To give each week of Lent, a different color. And to start with Red. I love Red. Mari-Nanci

I wanted you to know that since you told us that on 'Blue Monday,' we are supposed to have chocolate... And since I didn't know this on 'Blue Monday,' I made sure I had chocolate on 'Fat Tuesday,' as it is sometimes called. When I was buying the chocolate fudge from the candy store, I told the owner about 'Blue Monday' and chocolate... Which my friend in Norway had told me of. :-) So this has spread a little farther, around the world. Isn't that nice? Mari-Nanci

No, I have never heard of 'Blue Monday.' :-) But since today is what is sometimes called 'Fat Tuesday,' the day before Lent... perhaps it would be fine to have some 'Blue Monday's' chocolate, today also. :-) Mari-Nanci

My daughter* knits. She even spins her own yarn. But she didn't get it from me. It passed down to her, from her paternal grandmother. :-) * http://saratogaknitting.blogspot.com/ Mari-Nanci

Ohhhh those chandeliers! Oh my!!! I am in love! How could you possibly resist going in, when you saw them. And then the goodies. And you luncheon things. And free cookies. And a smiling help. And that red sofa. Oh my, what a glorious find! Mari-Nanci P.S. Did I say I am in love with those chandeliers? ,-) Yes I did!

How lovely... How beautiful... How peaceful looking... Thank you come coming by my blog, via Merisi's blog. And of course, thank you so much for commenting! And thank you for liking my attempt at softening my photo. I don't have a program, which works on my Mac... for doing things like softening. So I just have to use my iPhoto, which is old. It doesn't have many 'bells and whistles.' :-) Again, thank you for introducing yourself to me. I'm sure I will enjoy looking through your blogs. Mari-Nanci
